Simplifying procedures for employing Jordanians in private sector
تسهيل إجراءات توظيف الأردنيين في القطاع الخاص
The technical joint committee, comprised of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs, Jordan’s Ministry of Labour; and Qatar Chamber (QC), held a meeting in Amman to discuss mechanisms of developing the electronic platform for recruiting Jordanians in the State of Qatar, according to the directives of the wise leadership to provide jobs for nearly 10,000 Jordanian citizens in Qatar.
Qatar Chamber said yesterday that during the meeting they discussed developing the electronic platform, in addition to a number of important topics to accelerate the recruitment of Jordanians according to the initiative.
Qatar Chamber Director General, Saleh bin Hamad Al Sharqi stated the deep relations between Qatar and Jordan give great interest to the platform of recruiting Jordanians in Qatar.
Al Sharqi also confirmed the Qatari keenness to facilitate all procedures related establishing contracts between private sector companies in Qatar and job seekers from Jordanian citizens through the electronic platform.
He added that the Jordanian workforce enjoys high skills and is an important addition to the Qatari market. He said the Qatari private sector welcomes the employment of Jordanians, pointing out that the meeting discussed ways to facilitate the access of Qatari companies to Jordanian skilled labour.
Al Sharqi revealed that Doha will host a joint Qatari-Jordanian forum organised by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs with the participation of the Qatar Chamber in September. On the sidelines of the forum, they will discuss ways to enhance trade and economic relations between the two countries, noting that Qatar Chamber will invite business sectors in Qatar to attend the forum, he added.
Al Sharqi stressed the keenness of Qatar Chamber to enhance trade exchange between Qatar and Jordan and facilitate procedures for the entry of Jordanian companies into the Qatari market and to create investment opportunities for Qatari companies in Jordan, thus contributing to the expansion of investments between the two sides.
Jordan’s Minister of Labour Nedal El Batayneh welcomed the Qatari delegation and presented the ways to activate the electronic platform. During the meeting, El Batayneh underlined the depth of the historical relations between the two countries, the leadership, the government and people, describing them as strategic and distinctive, and fed by many economic, social and political trends.
The Minister said the meeting was the result of fruitful meetings with Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs Yousef bin Mohammed Al Othman Fakhroo, on the sidelines of the 108th International Labor Conference held in Geneva last month, during which they discussed areas of joint cooperation, including the activation of the Jordanian-Qatari platform of the Qatari grant to secure 10,000 jobs for Jordanians in the State of Qatar.
El Batayneh said the platform supervisors from the Ministry of Labor are currently working on developing the new platform, which includes advanced search engines that allow the Qatari side to easily access the platform and choose the job seeker according to the needs of the Qatari employer and also allows the job seeker to record their data in both languages Arabic and English, as well as the possibility to hold direct video interviews.
The Qatari delegation included Qatar Chamber Director General, Saleh bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Major Abdullah Khalifa Al Mohannadi from the Ministry of Interior and Mohammed Ali Al Mir and Mohammed Jumaa Al Kuwari representatives of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs.
عقدت اللجنة الفنية المشتركة بين وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية، ووزارة العمل الأردنية، وغرفة قطر ممثلاً للقطاع الخاص، اجتماعاً في العاصمة الأردنية عمّان لمناقشة آليات تطوير المنصة الإلكترونية المخصصة لتشغيل الأردنيين في قطر، وفقاً لمبادرة حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، الرامية إلى توفير فرص عمل لنحو 10 آلاف مواطن أردني في قطر.
وضمّ الوفد القطري كلاً من السيد صالح بن حمد الشرقي مدير عام الغرفة، والرائد عبدالله خليفة المهندي مدير إدارة المساندة للاستقدام بوزارة الداخلية، والسيد محمد علي المير والسيد محمد جمعة الكواري ممثلين عن وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية.
وتم خلال الاجتماع بحث آليات تطوير المنصة الإلكترونية، وعدداً من المواضيع الهادفة إلى الدفع قدماً نحو الإسراع في عملية تشغيل الأردنيين وفقاً للمبادرة.
وأشار صالح الشرقي إلى أن المؤسسات والشركات القطرية تُبدي اهتماماً كبيراً بالمنصة الخاصة بتشغيل الأردنيين في قطر.
وشدد الشرقي على حرص الجانب القطري على تسهيل جميع الإجراءات المتعلقة بالتعاقد بين شركات القطاع الخاص في قطر والباحثين عن عمل من المواطنين الأردنيين، وذلك من خلال المنصة الإلكترونية.
ترحيب
وأوضح أن القطاع الخاص القطري يرحب بتوظيف الأردنيين، لافتاً إلى أن الاجتماع بحث سبل تسهيل حصول الشركات القطرية على العمالة الأردنية الماهرة.
وكشف الشرقي أن الدوحة سوف تستضيف منتدى قطرياً أردنياً مشتركاً، تنظمه وزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية بمشاركة غرفة قطر، وذلك خلال سبتمبر المقبل؛ لافتاً إلى أنه سيتم على هامش المنتدى بحث السبل الكفيلة بتعزيز العلاقات التجارية والاقتصادية بين البلدين الشقيقين، منوهاً بأن غرفة قطر سوف تدعو قطاعات الأعمال في قطر إلى حضور المنتدى، كما سيتم على هامش المنتدى عقد اجتماع لمجلس الأعمال القطري الأردني.
وشدد الشرقي على حرص غرفة قطر على تعزيز التبادل التجاري بين قطر والأردن وتسهيل الإجراءات الخاصة بدخول الشركات الأردنية إلى السوق القطري وإيجاد فرص استثمارية للشركات القطرية في الأردن، بما يساهم في توسيع الاستثمارات بين الجانبين.
المنصة الإلكترونية
وقد استقبل معالي السيد نضال البطاينة، وزير العمل الأردني، الوفد القطري، وتم خلال اللقاء استعراض السبل الكفيلة بتفعيل المنصة الإلكترونية. وأكد البطاينة خلال اللقاء عمق العلاقات التاريخية المتميزة التي تجمع بين البلدين قيادة وحكومة وشعباً، معتبراً هذه العلاقة استراتيجية ومميزة تغذيها الكثير من الروافد الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والسياسية. ووأضح البطاينة أن هذا اللقاء جاء نتيجة للاجتماعات المثمرة مع سعادة السيد يوسف بن محمد العثمان فخرو وزير التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية، على هامش مؤتمر العمل الدولي في دورته 108 الذي انعقد في جنيف الشهر الماضي؛ حيث بحثا مجالات التعاون المشتركة، ومنها موضوع التشغيل وبالأخص تفعيل المنصة الأردنية القطرية الخاصة بالمنحة القطرية لتأمين 10 آلاف وظيفة لأردنيين في دولة قطر.
وقال البطاينة: إن المشرفين على المنصة الإلكترونية في وزارة العمل يعكفون الآن على تطويرها، بحيث تخرج بحُلّة جديدة تتضمن محركات بحث متطورة تتيح للجانب القطري سهولة الدخول على المنصة واختيار الباحث عن العمل وفقاً لحاجات صاحب العمل القطري بكل سهولة ويسر، كما تتيح للباحث عن العمل أن يسجل بياناته باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، كما تتضمن المنصة القادمة خدمة إجراء مقابلات فيديو مباشرة بين أصحاب العلاقة.
