Qatar Chamber participates in GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre meeting in Oman
قطر تشارك في اجتماع «التحكيم التجاري الخليجي» بعُمان
Qatar Chamber participated in the meeting of the GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre (GCCCAC) held recently at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The meeting, which was attended by Sheikh Thani bin Ali al-Thani, who is a member of the board of directors of GCCCAC, discussed a number of items and proposals aimed at improving the centre’s work.
The meeting also focused on the need to review the regulation of the work of the board of directors and the draft personnel regulations of the centre, and agreed that the final subjects will be presented to the GCCCAC board of directors at the next meeting in Kuwait next September.
Ridha al-Saleh, the chairman of GCCCAC and representative of the Sultanate of Oman at the meeting, lauded the presence and participation of the GCC member states and their efforts to support the centre’s initiatives. شارك سعادة الدكتور الشيخ ثاني بن علي آل ثاني، عضو مجلس إدارة مركز التحكيم التجاري لدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية «دار القرار»، ممثلاً عن دولة قطر، في اجتماع المجلس الذي عُقد بمقر غرفة تجارة وصناعة عُمان؛ حيث تناول الاجتماع سبل تعزيز التحكيم التجاري.
وناقش الاجتماع عدداً من البنود والمقترحات الهادفة إلى الارتقاء بعمل المركز، كما تطرّق إلى ضرورة مراجعة لائحة تنظيم عمل مجلس الإدارة، ومشروع لائحة شؤون الموظفين الخاص بالمركز، على أن تُعرض المواضيع بصورتها النهائية على مجلس إدارة المركز في الاجتماع القادم بدولة الكويت شهر سبتمبر المقبل.
وأشاد المهندس رضا آل صالح، رئيس مركز التحكيم التجاري الخليجي وممثل سلطنة عُمان، بحضور ومشاركة أصحاب السعادة الأعضاء ممثلي دول مجلس التعاون، وبجهودهم نحو دعم مسيرة المركز.
وعلى هامش الاجتماع، التقى الحضور سعادة السيد قيس بن محمد بن موسى اليوسف، رئيس مجلس إدارة غرفة عُمان.
