Lulu Hypermarket opens 10th store at Al Hilal

Lulu Hypermarket, the leading retailer in Qatar opened its 10th store at Al Hilal yesterday.

Reaffirming Lulu’s threshold in the retail arena, the newly opened hypermarket with a vast built up area of 110,000 square feet with ample car park facility including basement parking is expected to become the favourite shopping destination for the communities living in and around Al Hilal East and West, Al Asiri, Nuaija, New Salata, Mahmoura, Thumama, Mumtaza and Doha at large.

أصبحت هايبر ماركت اللولو أول شركة في المنطقة تسمح للعملاء باستعارة حقائب تسوق في محاولة للحد من النفايات البلاستيكية. يسمح هذا المشروع للمتسوقين الذين نسوا حقيبة تسوقهم أو اشتروا أكثر من المتوقع، باستعارة حقيبة بدلاً من شراء واحدة. يعد هذا المشروع المبتكر إحدى الاستراتيجيات الأخرى من هايبر ماركت اللولو لتقليل استخدام الأكياس البلاستيكية ذات الاستخدام الواحد. ستقدم هايبر ماركت اللولو حقائب تسوق مصنوعة من ورق مستدام المصدر وأكياس تسميد منزلية مصنوعة من نشا البطاطس. هذا بالإضافة إلى استخدام الأكياس البلاستيكية القابلة للتحلل والتي تحدث بالفعل أثراً إيجابياً في الحد من استخدام البلاستيك. وقريباً سنقوم بتقديم خيار “إعادة التعبئة” في بعض الفئات المحددة. تريد شركة اللولو تقديم مجموعة من الخيارات للمتسوقين لمساعدتهم على تقليل النفايات البلاستيكية بدلاً من فرض أي حل على عملائها.
