First Delivery of the 2020 Volkswagen Passat to the Middle East Arrives in Qatar

22 July 2019 – Qatar is always at the forefront; The first ever delivery of the US-built 2020 Volkswagen Passat Facelift arrives in Qatar – the first market in the Middle East and the world to receive the new model. The new Passat, built in the Volkswagen Chattanooga Assembly Plant, presents an impressive and bold new redesign as it arrives in the Middle East before any other global market.  

Q-Auto, the official dealer of Volkswagen in Qatar, welcomes the new 2020 Passat to the region with three offerings of different variants and prices to suit a wide range of customers.

Over eight years ago, Volkswagen completely overhauled the midsize sedan to include more interior space and modern comforts, combined with the company’s signature fun-to-drive nature. Building on this success, the new Passat of today offers more of what matters to the modern customer; a bold design, upgraded technology and enhanced access to convenience and driver-assistance features.

The 2020 Passat will be offered in a range of variants starting from the classic Trendline model which has been upgraded to include features such as daytime eco-LED headlights and LED taillights as standard, to the Comfortline model with 17 inch alloy wheels and automatic air-conditioning system, up to the Highline which comes with 18 inch alloy wheels as standard and leather sport seats.

Inside, the Passat combines a sophisticated new design and upgraded technology. The cockpit features a horizontal design, incorporating air vents that flow across the dash in a style reminiscent of premium models. A new, more contemporary instrument panel has been fitted, along with a new glass-covered infotainment touchscreen. Complementing the new interior design are new colours and premium materials.

Every Passat also comes with standard Volkswagen Car-Net® App-Connect technology, which integrates compatible smartphones with the three major platforms—Apple CarPlay™, Android Auto™ and MirrorLink®—making select apps accessible from the infotainment screen.

الدوحة، قطر 22 يوليو 2019- تم أول تسليم لسيارات باسات 2020 الجديدة في دولة قطر، كأول سوق يحصل على هذا الطراز في الشرق الأوسط والعالم. توفر سيارة باسات الجديدة التي تم تصنيعها في مصنع فولكس واجن في تشاتانوغا، امريكا، تصميم جديد و جريء و مثير للإعجاب  يصل الى دولة قطر  قبل أي سوق عالمي آخر.

سيتم تقديم سيارة باسات 2020 في مجموعة متنوعة من المواصفات ابتداءً من طراز Trendline الكلاسيكي الذي أجريت عليه تعديلات لشمل مواصفات مثل المصابيح الأمامية الكهربائية بتقنية LED ومصابيح خلفية بتقنية LED  أيضاً ، و طراز Comfortline بعجلات من الألمنيوم مقاس 17 بوصة وعجلة القيادة الجلدية ، وصولاً إلى طراز Highline  الذي يأتي مع عجلات مقاس 18 بوصة و مقاعد رياضية جلدية.

أما من الداخل، فتمتاز سيارة باسات بتصميمها العصري الراقي وتقنياتها الحديثة، يزيدها فخامةً تلك الرحابة الواسعة التي جعلت هذا الطراز رائجاً. كما تمتاز مقصورة القيادة بتصميمها الأفقي والذي يتضمن فتحات هوائية على طول اللوحة الأمامية على نحو يشبه الطرازات الفخمة. وتتألق المقصورة كذلك بلوحة عدادات جديدة أكثر عصرية، بالإضافة إلى شاشة نظام المعلومات والترفيه الجديدة التي تعمل باللمس. ويكتمل هذا التصميم الداخليّ الجديد بألألون الجديدة والمواد الفاخرة.
