‘Badar’ community initiative for workers launched
انطلاق مبادرة «بدار» لتنمية مهارات العمال
DOHA: In a strategic partnership with the Ministry of the Interior represented by the Public Relations Department, the Ras Laffan Community Outreach Program launched the “Badar” Community Initiative for communication with workers in the Northern Region yesterday at a function held in the Officers Club of the General Directorate of Civil Defense.
The aim of the initiative is to reach out to workers in Qatar, raise their awareness, and develop their skills in order to involve them in the development of society and the preservation of their property through a series of training programmes and awareness workshops that raise their awareness on safety, health, customs, traditions and community culture.
Sheikha Al Anoud Al Thani, Head of Media Studies, Public Relations Department, pointed out that the initiative is in line with the Ministry of Interior’s strategic orientations. It aims to sensitise all residents on security and safety under the supervision of the Community Reach out Office of the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior with effective communication between the resident workers and the community.
Sheikha Dana Al Thani, Senior Officer at Ras Laffan Community Outreach Program said: “This initiative is a community strategic initiative launched by the Program to build a bridge of effective communication between the major industrial companies in the northern areas and all segments of community.”
“The idea of launching this initiative is based upon the official directions of government institutions that seek to take care of the workers of different communities”, she added.
Ibraheem Al Sada; Coach of Train the Trainer Programme said “The sustainability of the impact of this initiative is a real added value. A group of trainers and lecturers from Asian communities are trained using the most common languages, who will be in return work as awareness and development ambassadors in their companies and residential complexes”.
The most important feature of this initiative is that it is a link between the departments of the Ministry of the Interior, in terms of awareness and education, and a large number of employees in companies operating in Qatar, through a number of trainers selected.
They were trained to develop their skill through the Training of Trainers (TOT), to be the ambassadors of training and awareness in their companies and residential complexes in coordination and continuous communication with the Initiative and the departments concerned with the Ministry of Interior, which provides all support for the success of such initiatives.
بشراكة استراتيجية مع وزارة الداخلية -ممثلة بإدارة العلاقات العامة- أطلق برنامج راس لفان للتواصل الاجتماعي مبادرة «بدار» المجتمعية، للتواصل المجتمعي مع العمال في المناطق الشمالية، أمس، بنادي الضباط بالإدارة العامة للدفاع المدني.
تهدف المبادرة إلى التواصل المجتمعي مع عمال الجاليات الآسيوية في قطر، ورفع مستوى الوعي لديهم، وتنمية مهاراتهم، لإشراكهم في نهضة المجتمع والحفاظ على ممتلكاته، وذلك من خلال مجموعة برامج تدريبية وورش عمل توعوية، تعمل على إنماء الوعي بمجالات الأمن والصحة والسلامة المعنية، والعادات والتقاليد المجتمعية.
وقد أشارت الشيخة العنود آل ثاني -رئيس قسم الدراسات الإعلامية بإدارة العلاقات العامة- إلى أن المبادرة تتسق مع التوجهات الاستراتيجية لوزارة الداخلية، التي تعمل على توعية كل المقيمين بأسباب الأمن والسلامة، بإشراف مكتب الجاليات التابع لإدارة العلاقات العامة، من خلال تعزيز التواصل السليم بين العمال المقيمين والمجتمع.
كما لفتت الشيخة دانة آل ثاني -كبير مسؤولي برنامج راس لفان للتواصل الاجتماعي- إلى أن هذه المبادرة تعد من المبادرات المجتمعية الاستراتيجية التي يطلقها البرنامج لبناء جسر من التواصل الفعال بين الشركات الصناعية الكبرى في المناطق الشمالية وبين جميع فئات المجتمع، بناءً على التوجهات الرسمية للمؤسسات الحكومية التي تهتم بالعمال، باعتبارهم طاقة تشغيلية كبرى، يمكن استثمارها وتوجيهها وإشراكها في نهضة المجتمع.
وقال المهندس إبراهيم السادة -مدرب برنامج تدريب المدربين- إن استدامة أثر هذه المبادرة يعتبر قيمة مضافة حقيقية، حيث تم تأهيل مجموعة من
المدربين والمحاضرين -حوالي خمسة وثلاثين مدرباً- من الجاليات الآسيوية، باللغات الأكثر شيوعاً، سوف ينطلقون بدورهم ليكونوا سفراء للتوعية والتطوير في شركاتهم.
وأهم ما يميز هذه المبادرة أنها تعد حلقة وصل بين إدارات وزارة الداخلية -المعنية بالتوعية والتثقيف- وبين عدد كبير من العاملين في الشركات العاملة في قطر، وذلك عبر عدد من المدربين الذين تم اختيارهم، وتطوير مهاراتهم، من خلال ورشة تدريب المدربين، حتى يكونوا سفراء التدريب والتوعية في شركاتهم ومجمعاتهم السكنية، من خلال التنسيق والتواصل المستمر مع إدارة المبادرة والإدارات المعنية بوزارة الداخلية، التي توفر كل الدعم لإنجاح مثل هذه المبادرات.
