Winners of Qatar Armed Forces Championship crowned

Major General Abdullah bin Jassim team was crowned with the gold medal of the Qatar Armed Forces championship, which was organised yesterday by the Military Sports Association under the patronage of Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, H E Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanim bin Shaheen Al Ghanem.

Major General Abdullah bin Jassim’s team came in first place, and the Qatari Amiri Air Force team came in second and won the silver medal, the internal security force team (Lekhwiya) finished third and won the bronze medal.

At the individual level, Rachid Boudalaa of the Qatari Amiri Air Force won the first place, while Tariq Haddadi from Major General Abdullah bin Jassim team secured the second place and Ibrahim Hassan Mousa from Major General Abdullah bin Jassim team finished third.

H E Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem crowned the winners of the first place and medals at the end of the tournament. A total of 73 competitors and 13 teams representing various branches of the Qatar Armed Forces participated in the Championship.

تحت رعاية وحضور سعادة الفريق الركن طيار غانم بن شاهين الغانم رئيس أركان القوات المسلحة القطرية، وفي حضور عدد من كبار ضباط القوات المسلحة، اختتمت صباح أمس الخميس بطولة القوات المسلحة القطرية للضاحية العسكرية، والتي نظمها الاتحاد الرياضي العسكري في معسكر مقدام بأكاديمية الخدمة الوطنية.

على المستوى الفردي حقق المتسابق رشيد بو دلاع من مرتب القوات الجوية الأميرية القطرية المركز الأول، وجاء في المركز الثاني المتسابق طارق حدادي من مرتب اللواء عبد الله بن جاسم، أما المركز الثالث فقد كان من نصيب المتسابق إبراهيم حسن موسى من مرتب اللواء عبد الله بن جاسم.

أما على صعيد الفرق فقد جاء فريق اللواء عبد الله بن جاسم في المركز الأول، ثم فريق القوات الجوية الأميرية القطرية في المركز الثاني، وفريق قوة الأمن الداخلي (لخويا) في المركز الثالث.

في نهاية البطولة تفضل راعي الحفل سعادة الفريق الركن (طيار) غانم بن شاهين الغانم رئيس أركان القوات المسلحة القطرية، بتتويج الفائزين بكأس المراكز الأولى والميداليات، وسط فرحة الجميع في ختام البطولة بحصاد النجاح.

الجدير بالذكر أن عدد المشاركين في البطولة 73 متسابقاً و13 فريقاً يمثلون مختلف أفرع القوات المسلحة القطرية.;
