Customs provides exemptions for those coming to Doha
الجمارك تقدم إعفاءات للقادمين إلى الدوحة
According to the General Administration of Customs, Qataris are allowed to obtain customs exemptions on personal luggage and used household appliances brought by citizens residing abroad and foreigners coming to the country for the first time.
Personal baggage and gifts held by passengers shall also be exempted from customs duties, provided that they are in non-commercial quantities, not exceeding 3 thousand riyals.
In the same manner and effort in which the General Authority of Customs works on the passenger’s comfort, it emphasizes the prevention and control of crime. In this context, the traveler may not bring gifts or gifts that are forbidden or restricted to the state, Such as drugs, weapons and immoral materials.

أوضحت الهيئة العامة للجمارك مجموعة الاعفاءات الجمركية التي تخص بها القادمين الى قطر ضمن سعيها لتقديم خدمة جمركية على اعلى مستوى وفقا لمعايير الجودة العالمية وبحسب الهيئة العامة للجمارك يسمح للقادمين لدولة قطر بالحصول على اعفاءات جمركية على الامتعة الشخصية والأدوات المنزلية المستعملة التي يجلبها المواطنون المقيمون بالخارج والأجانب القادمون الى الدولة لأول مرة، وتعفى ايضا من الرسوم الجمركية الامتعة الشخصية والهدايا التي بحوزة المسافرين على ان تكون بكميات غير تجارية بما لا تزيد قيمته على 3 آلاف ريال وبنفس القدر والجهد الذي تعمل فيه الهيئة العامة للجمارك على راحة المسافر تشدد على منع الجريمة ومكافحتها وفي هذا الاطار لا يجوز للمسافر احضار امتعة او هدايا ممنوع او مقيد دخولها الى الدولة مثل المخدرات والأسلحة والمواد المخلة بالآداب وقالت الهيئة العامة للجمارك “ان التسهيلات الجمركية التي تقدمها الدوحة متعددة وشاملة ضمن اطار القوانين المرعية ورجال الدولة في القسم الجمركي بانتظار المسافرين لتقديم افضل صورة من بوابة قطر.
