Woqod opens expansion of Wadi Al Banat petrol station

Doha: Qatar Fuel (Woqod) opened expansion of petrol station in Wadi Al Banat area yesterday as part of its ongoing expansion plans to be able to serve every area in Qatar.

Wadi Al Banat petrol station is spread after expansion over an area of 12,650 square meters and the expansion has two lanes with six dispensers additional to the existing 6 dispensers within 3 lanes, which will serve Wadi Al Banat and its neighborhood.

The Petrol Stations offer round-the-clock services to residents and include Sidra convenience store, Manual & Auto Car Wash, Oil Change and Tire Repair, and sale of LPG cylinders, in addition to the sale of gasoline and diesel products for light vehicles.

Woqod’s CEO, Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, said: “We are pleased to open expansion of petrol station in Wadi Al Banat. Woqod aspires to expand its petrol station network in the country to meet the rising demand for petroleum products and achieve the goal of providing customers with access to best-in-class products and services at their convenience and comfort. Woqod has recently accelerated the process for the construction of new petrol stations to meet the fuel and energy needs of the country. Al Muhannadi added that the opening of the Petrol Station Expansion is included in Woqod planning for the operation of 30 new petrol stations on the current year 2019. He said that as part of its strategic expansion plan, Woqod is targeting the achievement of a total of 134 fuel stations by the end of 2020.

افتتحت شركة قطر للوقود «وقود»، أمس، أعمال التوسعة لمحطة الوقود في منطقة وادي البنات.

وبهذه المناسبة، قال السيد سعد راشد المهندي، الرئيس التنفيذي للشركة: «يسرنا اليوم افتتاح توسعة محطة وقود وادي البنات، وذلك لتلبية احتياجات عملائنا الكرام في منطقة وادي البنات وماحولها»، مؤكداً أن افتتاح هذه التوسعة من شأنه أن يترجم خطط «وقود» الطموحة في توسيع شبكة محطاتها وتسهيل الوصول إليها، كما يهدف إلى تلبية الطلب المتزايد للمنتجات البترولية في السوق المحلي، وضمان توفير منتجات وخدمات عالية الجودة لجميع العملاء في أنحاء الدولة.

وأضاف أن «وقود» قامت في الآونة الأخيرة بتسريع وتيرة أعمال بناء المحطات، من أجل تعزيز خدمة العملاء، معرباً عن شكر «وقود» وتقديرها لكل الجهات ذات العلاقة التي ساهمت وتساهم في إنجاز مشروعاتها الحيوية.

وتبلغ مساحة محطة وادي البنات -بعد التوسعة- 12650 متراً مربعاً، وتحتوي التوسعة على خطين يتضمنان 6 مضخات لتعبئة الوقود، إضافة إلى المحطة القائمة التي تحتوي على 6 مضخات على 3 خطوط، وذلك لخدمة مرتادي منطقة وادي البنات والمناطق المجاورة لها.
