Vodafone and Talabat join hands to donate Iftar meals
«فودافون قطر» تتبرع بـ 1000 وجبة إفطار خلال رمضان بالشراكة مع «طلبات»
Doha: Vodafone Qatar and Talabat have joined hands to spread the generous spirit of Ramadan by making it easy for customers to donate. From May 16 to 26, the first 1,000 customers who make a food delivery order on Talabat daily, Vodafone will automatically make an Iftar meal donation on their behalf that will benefit Qatar Charity’s “Feed the Fasting” programme.
Participation in the initiative has been made seamless for Talabat’s customers and does not require any changes to App settings or use of activation codes. When customers complete their delivery order, they will receive a message from Talabat confirming their automatic donation made by Vodafone. The initiative is not limited to Vodafone Qatar customers and is open to all those who use Talabat.
The initiative is being organised as part of Vodafone Qatar’s wide corporate social responsibility programme during the holy month under the banner of the Company’s Ramadan campaign #ShukranFromTheHeart.
Mohammed Mahdi Al Yami, Director of External Affairs, Vodafone Qatar, said: “Vodafone Qatar is proud of the positive impact our social responsibility programmes make year after year, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. We’re happy to be joining hands with our strategic partner Talabat this year to give back to the community and involve the public in this.”
Talabat Managing Director for Qatar Francisco De Sousa commented, “We’re proud to be joining hands with Vodafone and Qatar Charity during the holy month to fulfill our theme for this year of “Generous Hearts, Generous Plates.” We are uniquely positioned to help our customers share delicious food not just with their loved ones, but with the community at large.” Vodafone Qatar and Talabat first formed a partnership in February this year when it was announced that Vodafone’s Red postpaid customers would benefit from Talabat Go to enjoy free and quicker deliveries.
أعلنت «فودافون قطر» تعاونها مع «طلبات» في مبادرة جديدة لتسهيل طريقة التبرع للعملاء، من أجل نشر روح الخير والعطاء التي تسود أجواء شهر رمضان المبارك.
وبداية من تاريخ 16 مايو وحتى 26 مايو الحالي، أول 1000 عميل يطلب عبر تطبيق «طلبات» لطلب الطعام، ستتبرع «فودافون» تلقائياً بوجبة إفطار يومياً نيابة عنه، وستذهب الوجبات لصالح برنامج «إفطار صائم»، الذي تشرف عليه مؤسسة قطر الخيرية.
ويمكن لعملاء «طلبات» المشاركة في هذه المبادرة بمنتهى السلاسة دون الحاجة إلى ضبط إعدادات البرنامج أو استخدام «أكواد» مخصصة لتفعيل المشاركة. فمع انتهاء العملاء من الطلب على التطبيق، ستصلهم رسالة طلبات تؤكد تبرع «فودافون» التلقائي، ولا تقتصر المشاركة على عملاء «فودافون قطر»، بل تشمل جميع من يستخدمون تطبيق «طلبات».
وتأتي هذه المبادرة ضمن باقة واسعة من أنشطة برنامج المسؤولية المجتمعية التي تنظمها «فودافون قطر» خلال الشهر المبارك في إطار حملتها الرمضانية «شكراً من القلب».
وتعليقاً على المبادرة، قال محمد مهدي اليامي، مدير الشؤون الخارجية في «فودافون قطر»: «تفخر فودافون قطر بالتأثير الإيجابي الذي تصنعه برامج المسؤولية المجتمعية عاماً تلو آخر، لا سيما خلال شهر رمضان الفضيل. ويسعدنا التعاون هذا العام مع شريكنا الاستراتيجي «طلبات»، لرد الجميل للمجتمع وإشراكه معنا في هذه المبادرة».
من جهته، قال فرانسيسكو دي سوسا، مدير «طلبات» في قطر: «نفخر بشركاتنا مع فودافون وقطر الخيرية، التي تمكننا من تحقيق رسالتنا خلال هذا الشهر الفضيل، وهي «قلوب سخية وأطباق شهية». نؤمن بأن دورنا لا يقتصر فقط على تسهيل مشاركة الطعام اللذيذ مع الأحبة، بل أيضاً مع المجتمع المحلي عامة».
يذكر أن «فودافون قطر» و»طلبات» تجمعهما شراكة بدأت منذ فبراير هذا العام بالإعلان عن العرض المخصص لعملاء باقات فودافون «Red» بالحصول على طلبات مجانية وسريعة عند استخدام «طلبات Go».
