Qatar takes part in GCC courts meeting

Riyadh: The State of Qatar participated in the fourth meeting of the Supreme and Cassation Courts’ specialists in GCC countries held in Riyadh. The delegation of the State of Qatar was chaired by Deputy Head of the Court of Cassation, Sheikh Dr Thuqail bin Sayer Al Shammari. The meeting discussed a number of issues on the agenda, including the operational plan for the strategic plan of the Supreme Courts and the Courts of Cassation in the GCC countries, and the draft of a unified law of the Supreme and the Cassation Courts in the GCC States. The meeting also discussed topics related to the Scientific Committee on the sidelines of the regular meetings of the heads of the Supreme Courts and Courts of Cassation, as well as the issues related to the website of the Supreme Courts and Courts of Cassation in the GCC.

شاركت دولة قطر في الاجتماع الرابع للجنة المختصين من المحاكم العليا والتمييز بدول مجلس التعاون التي عقدت في الرياض.

وترأس وفد دولة قطر المشارك في الاجتماع فضيلة الشيخ القاضي الدكتور ثقيل الشمري نائب رئيس محكمة التمييز.

وتم خلال الاجتماع بحث عدد من الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال ومن بينها الخطة التشغيلية للخطة الاستراتيجية للمحاكم العليا والتمييز بدول مجلس التعاون ومشروع النظام (القانون) الموحد للمحاكم العليا والتمييز بدول المجلس.

كما ناقش الاجتماع مواضيع تتعلق باللجنة العلمية على هامش أعمال اللقاءات الدورية لرؤساء المحاكم العليا والتمييز، إلى جانب بحث المسائل المتعلقة بالموقع الإلكتروني الخاص بالمحاكم العليا والتمييز بدول مجلس التعاون.
