Qatar Shell wins ‘Best Qatarisation Progress Crystal Award’
«شل قطر» تفوز بجائزة «أفضل تقدّم أحرز في التقطير»
Qatar Shell has added a new accolade to its list of honours, receiving the ‘Best Qatarisation Progress Crystal Award’ in recognition of its valued contribution to Qatarisation in the energy sector.
The award was presented by H E Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President and Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Petroleum (QP), at the 11th Annual Qatarisation Awards, which recognised companies that demonstrated excellence in Qatarisation during 2018.
The awards followed the energy sector’s ‘19th Annual Qatarisation Review Meeting’, which brought together senior executives and representatives from the 35 companies participating in the Energy Sector’s Strategic Qatarisation Plan, as well as senior executives from Qatar’s education community.
For the second consecutive year, Qatar Shell was shortlisted for multiple award categories, which included ‘Support and Liaison with the Education Sector’, ‘Supporting Qatarisation’, ‘Support for Training and Development’, and ‘Best Qatarisation Progress’.
Qatar Shell Managing Director and Chairman, Andrew Faulkner, said: “We are proud to be recognised for our achievements in Qatarisation and for our efforts to become an employer of choice for Qataris. The award brings the total number of accolades secured by Qatar Shell since the launch of the energy sector’s ‘Annual Qatarisation Awards’ in 2008 to seven. These include five crystal awards and two recognition certificates.
أعلنت شركة شل قطر عن فوزها بجائزة الكريستال للتقطير لـ «أفضل تقدُّم أُحرز في مجال التقطير»، تقديراً لإسهاماتها في التقطير في قطاع الطاقة. وقدّم الجائزة المرموقة لشركة شل قطر سعادة المهندس سعد بن شريده الكعبي وزير الدولة لشؤون الطاقة والعضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي لشركة قطر للبترول، في حفل جوائز التقطير السنوي الحادي عشر، الذي يُكرِّم شركات الطاقة التي حققت تميزاً في التقطير خلال العام 2018.
وجاء توزيع الجوائز في ختام الاجتماع السنوي التاسع عشر للتقطير في قطاع الطاقة، الذي شهد حضور عدد كبير من كبار المسؤولين التنفيذيين وممثلين عن 35 شركة مشاركة في الخطة الاستراتيجية للتقطير في قطاع الطاقة، إضافة إلى عدد من كبار المسؤولين في قطاع التعليم.
