Ooredoo surprises elderly residents of Ehsan Centre
«ooredoo» تزور مركز تمكين ورعاية كبار السن «إحسان»
Ooredoo announced that teams of volunteers paid a surprise visit to Ehsan Centre For Empowerment and Elderly Care as part of its ongoing Ramadan CSR activity schedule. Teams of volunteers visited the Centre, spending time with the elderly residents before undertaking a schedule of activities arranged for after Iftar.
Volunteers also distributed gifts and thanked the Centre’s staff for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
Speaking about the ongoing Ramadan CSR activity schedule and the visit to the elderly, Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi – Director PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo – said: “A major part of our corporate social responsibility schedule is supporting the communities in which we operate, and this special time of the year is perfect for us to undertake activities that demonstrate our support in practical ways.
We are committed to supporting all sectors of our community, and this activity was the ideal way for us to show our gratitude to, and appreciation and respect for, our elders. Spending time with them at the Ehsan Centre was a great privilege indeed.”
Ooredoo will be continuing its schedule of CSR activities until the end of Ramadan and Eid.
في إطار مبادراتها للمسؤولية الاجتماعية خلال شهر رمضان، قام فريق من متطوعي «ooredoo» بزيارة مركز تمكين ورعاية كبار السن «إحسان»، لتناول طعام الإفطار مع ضيوف المركز، وإدخال البهجة والسرور إلى قلوبهم.
وقد تبادل متطوعو «ooredoo» الأحاديث مع كبار السن وشاركوهم وجبة الإفطار، وقدموا لهم الهدايا، وشاركوهم مجموعة من الفعاليات بعد الإفطار، كما شكر فريق «ooredoo» العاملين في مركز إحسان على جهودهم في تقديم الرعاية والخدمة لضيوف المركز.
وحول هذه الزيارة، قالت منار خليفة المريخي، مديرة إدارة العلاقات العامة واتصالات الشركة في «ooredoo»: «نحن سعداء بزيارة ضيوف مركز إحسان ومشاركتهم تناول وجبة الإفطار، انطلاقاً من حرصنا على نشر روح المودة والتراحم بين أفراد المجتمع خلال الشهر الفضيل، فكبار السن هم آباؤنا وأمهاتنا جميعاً، ونحن نشكر «إحسان» على ما يوفره لهم من الرعاية والدعم والتمكين، ونأمل أن يحظى العمل النبيل الذي يقوم به المركز بدعم الجميع».
