Amir meets Iraqi Oil Minister

Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met at the Amiri Diwan yesterday with Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Thamir Abbas Al Ghadhban, who called on to greet the Amir on the occasion of his visit. The Minister conveyed the greetings of President of Iraq, Dr. Barham Salih, to the Amir and his wishes to the Qatari people of further prosperity. The Amir entrusted the Minister to convey his greetings to the Iraqi President and his wishes to the brotherly Iraqi people of continued progress and prosperity. They reviewed bilateral ties, especially in the field of energy.

استقبل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، في مكتبه بالديوان الأميري، صباح أمس، سعادة السيد ثامر عباس الغضبان نائب رئيس الوزراء لشؤون الطاقة ووزير النفط في جمهورية العراق الشقيقة، وذلك للسلام على سموه بمناسبة زيارته للبلاد.

وفي بداية المقابلة، نقل سعادة السيد ثامر الغضبان تحيات فخامة الرئيس الدكتور برهم صالح رئيس جمهورية العراق، لسمو الأمير وتمنياته للشعب القطري المزيد من التطور والنماء، من جانبه حمّله سمو الأمير تحياته لفخامة الرئيس وتمنياته له وللشعب العراقي الشقيق دوام التقدم والازدهار.

وجرى خلال المقابلة استعراض علاقات التعاون بين البلدين، لا سيما في مجال الطاقة.
