UDC participates in Moushtarayat 2019
المتحدة للتنمية تشارك في «مشتريات 2019»
United Development Company (UDC), one of Qatar’s leading public shareholding companies and the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar and Gewan islands, participated in the 4th edition of the Government Procurement and Contracting Conference and Exhibition – Moushtarayat 2019.
The 4th edition of Moushtarayat, which kicked off on March 31st at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, provided a key platform for networking among big buyers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
UDC hosted a booth that brought together members of its Procurement Department to brief visitors on the Company’s programs and familiarize SMEs and entrepreneurs with its procurement practices. UDC’s participation in the event alongside other leading buyers, is part of the Company’s aim to support local SMEs and contribute to localization efforts in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
The conference featured bilateral meetings with SME owners and entrepreneurs to assess cooperation prospects, and to advise local businesses on the procedures relating to existing public tenders extended by larger private sector companies, semi-governmental, and governmental bodies.
شاركت الشركة المتحدة للتنمية، إحدى كبرى الشركات المساهمة العامة الرائدة في دولة قطر، والمطور الرئيسي لجزيرتي اللؤلؤة – قطر وجيوان، في النسخة الرابعة من مؤتمر ومعرض المشتريات والتعاقدات الحكومية 2019 «مشتريات».
انطلقت فعاليات الدورة الجديدة في 31 مارس 2019 لثلاثة أيام، في مركز الدوحة للمعارض والمؤتمرات، حيث وفرت منصة أساسية للتواصل بين كبرى الشركات ذات القدرة الشرائية العالية والشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة. وتميزت الشركة المتحدة للتنمية بجناح خاص في المعرض، ضم ممثلين عن قسم المشتريات التابع للشركة، من أجل تعريف الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة ومختلف الزوار على سبل التسجيل لدى الشركة والمجالات المتعددة التي تغطيها نشاطات الشركة.
ومن خلال مشاركتها في هذا الحدث إلى جانب المشترين الرئيسيين الآخرين، تهدف الشركة المتحدة للتنمية إلى دعم الشركات الصغيرة والمتوسطة المحلية، والمساهمة في جهود التوطين بما يتماشى مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.
وتضمنت فعاليات المعرض عقد اجتماعات ثنائية مع أصحاب المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة ورجال الأعمال، لتقييم آفاق التعاون وإطلاع الشركات المحلية على الإجراءات المتعلقة بالمناقصات العامة الحالية التي تقدمها شركات القطاع الخاص الكبيرة والهيئات الحكومية وشبه الحكومية.
