Doha: The ‘Bard Al Azariq’ days, which are the coldest days in Qatar, will begin today, Qatar Calendar House (QCH) announced.
QCH said that the days will start today, Monday, January 24, and will last until next Monday, January 31, and these eight days are considered the coldest days of the year.
Qatar has been experiencing relatively cold weather during the last few days with temperatures dipping below 10 degrees Celsius in some places early in the morning.
As per Qatar Meteorology Department report temperatures were ranging between 9-14°C yesterday morning and the lowest temperature recorded was 6°C in Sawda Natheel in the morning.
Apparent temperatures ranging between 0 and 13 degrees Celsius was felt around Qatar early in the morning on January 22, 2022, with the lowest apparent temperature of -2 degree Celsius felt in Abusamra.

الدوحة: أعلن دار التقويم القطري أن أبرد الأيام في قطر، ما يُعرف بـ “برد الأزيرق” تبدأ اليوم.
وقال دار التقويم القطري إن البرد سيبدأ اليوم، الاثنين 24 يناير وسيستمر حتى يوم الاثنين المقبل 31 يناير وتعتبر هذه الأيام الثمانية أبرد أيام السنة.
وقد شهدت قطر طقساً بارداً نسبياً خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية مع انخفاض في درجات الحرارة إلى ما دون 10 درجات مئوية في بعض الأماكن في أوقات الصباح الباكر.
وبحسب تقرير إدارة الأرصاد الجوية بقطر، فقد تراوحت درجات الحرارة صباح أمس بين 9-14 درجة مئوية، حيث كانت أدنى درجة حرارة مسجلة 6 درجات مئوية في سودا نثيل في الصباح.
وكانت درجات الحرارة الفعلية تتراوح بين 0 و 13 درجة مئوية حول قطر في وقت مبكر من صباح يوم 22 يناير 2022، مع أدنى درجة حرارة واضحة كانت -2 درجة مئوية تأثرت بها منطقة أبو سمرة.
