Qatar’s Foreign Merchandise Trade Surplus Reaches QR19.3 billion in September

Doha: The foreign merchandise trade balance, which represents the difference between total exports and imports, showed a surplus of QR 19.3 billion in September 2021, i.e. an increase of about QR 12.8 billion or 199.2 percent compared to September 2020, and increase by nearly QR 0.1 billion or 0.3 percent compared to August 2021.
A statement by the Planning and Statistics, showed that in September 2021, the total exports of goods (including exports of goods of domestic origin and re-exports) amounted to around QR 28.0 billion, showing an increase of 108.9 percent compared to September 2020, and increase of 2.8 percent compared to August 2021.
On other hand, the imports of goods in September 2021 amounted to around QR 8.8 billion, showing an increase of 25.7 percent compared to September 2020. and increase of 8.5 percent compared to August 2021.
The year on year (September 2021 to September 2020) increase in total exports was mainly due to higher exports of Petroleum gases and other gaseous hydrocarbons (LNG, condensates, propane, butane, etc.) reaching QR 17.3 billion approximately in September 2021, i.e. an increase of 111.2 percent, Petroleum oils & oils from bituminous minerals (crude) reaching QR 3.5 billion nearly, increase by 88.9 percent, and increase in the Petroleum oils & oils from bituminous minerals (not crude) reaching 2.7 billion, increased by 217.4 percent.
In September 2021, China was at the top of the countries of destination of Qatars exports with close to QR 4.2 billion, a share of 15.1 percent of total exports, followed by India with almost QR 3.6 billion and a share of 12.8 percent, South Korea with about QR 3.5 billion, a share of 12.3 percent.
The year on year (September 2021 to September 2020), the group of ” Motor Cars & Other Motor Vehicles For The Transport of Persons ” was at the top of the imported group of commodities, with QR 0.3 billion, showing an increase of 51.0 percent. In second place was ” Parts Of Balloons Etc; Parts of Aircraft, Spacecraft Etc. ” with QR 0.19 billion, showing an decrease of 13.4 percent and in third place was ” Telephone Sets, Including Telephones for Cellular Networks; Parts Thereof ” with QR 0.19 billion, increase of 37.8 percent.
In September 2021, China was the leading country of origin of Qatars imports with about QR 1.6 billion, a share of 18.2 percent of the imports, followed by United State of America with QR 1.1 billion almost, a share of 12.4 percent, and India with QR 0.6 billion, a share of 6.7 percent.

الدوحة: حقق الميزان التجاري السلعي لدولة قطر، الذي يمثل الفرق بين إجمالي الصادرات والواردات، فائضا مقداره 199.2 بالمئة خلال شهر سبتمبر الماضي، مقارنة بنفس الشهر من العام 2020، بينما بلغت الزيادة السنوية 0.3 بالمئة مقارنة مع أغسطس 2021.
وذكر بيان لجهاز التخطيط والإحصاء صدر اليوم، أن فائض الميزان التجاري للدولة وصل إلى 19.3 مليار ريال، بزيادة شهرية قدرها 12.8 مليار ريال، وسنوية بأكثر من 100 مليون ريال.
وأظهرت البيانات أن قيمة الصادرات القطرية /التي تشمل الصادرات ذات المنشأ المحلي وإعادة التصدير/ بلغت 28 مليار ريال تقريبا، أي بارتفاع نسبته 108.9 بالمئة مقارنة بشهر سبتمبر 2020، بينما كانت نسبة الارتفاع 2.8 في المئة مقارنة بشهر أغسطس الماضي.
ومن جانب آخر ارتفعت قيمة الواردات السلعية، لتصل إلى نحو 8.8 مليار ريال بزيادة بلغت نسبتها نحو 25.7 بالمئة مقارنة بشهر سبتمبر 2020، وبنحو 8.5 بالمئة مقارنة بأغسطس الماضي.
وبالنسبة لقيمة الصادرات في سبتمبر الماضي، قياسا بالشهر المماثل من 2020، فقد سجلت /غازات النفط والهيدروكربونات الغازية الأخرى/ 17.3 مليار ريال، بنسبة زيادة بلغت 111.2 بالمئة، بينما سجلت قيمة /زيوت نفط وزيوت مواد معدنية قارية خام/ ما يقرب من 3.5 مليار ريال، بنسبة زيادة قدرها 88.9 بالمئة، كما زادت قيمة صادرات /زيوت نفط وزيوت متحصل عليها من مواد معدنية قارية غير خام/ بنسبة 217.4 بالمئة، لتصل إلى نحو 2.7 مليار ريال.
واحتلت الصين صدارة دول المقصد بالنسبة لصادرات دولة قطر خلال سبتمبر الماضي، وبقيمة 4.2 مليار ريال تقريباً أي ما نسبته 15.1 بالمئة من إجمالي قيمة الصادرات القطرية، تليها الهند بقيمة 3.6 مليار ريال وبنسبة 12.8 بالمئة، ثم كوريا الجنوبية بقيمة 3.5 مليار ريال تقريباً أي ما يعادل 12.3 في المئة من إجمالي تلك القيمة.
وجاءت مجموعة /السيارات وغيرها من العربات السيارة المصممة أساسا لنقل الأشخاص/ على رأس قائمة الواردات السلعية حيث بلغت قيمتها 0.3 مليار ريال بارتفاع نسبته 51.0 في المئة، تليها مجموعة /أجزاء أُخرى للطائرات العادية أو الطائرات العمودية / بقيمة 0.19 مليار ريال بانخفاض 13.4 بالمئة، ومجموعة /أجهزة الهاتف بما في ذلك الأجهزة الناقلة للشبكة وأجزاؤها/ التي بلغت قيمتها 0.19 مليار ريال بزيادة قدرها 37.8 في المئة.
كما احتلت الصين صدارة دول المنشأ بالنسبة لواردات دولة قطر خلال سبتمبر الماضي بقيمة 1.6 مليار ريال تقريباً وبنسبة 18.2 في المئة من إجمالي قيمة الواردات السلعية، ثم الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية بقيمة 1.1 مليار ريال أي ما نسبته 12.4 في المئة، تليها الهند بقيمة 0.6 مليار ريال أي بنسبة 6.7 بالمئة.
