President of Bulgaria visits Al Zaeem Air College

Doha: President Rumen Radev of the Republic of Bulgaria and the accompanying delegation paid a visit to the Al Zaeem Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College, where they were welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah, and the College Commander Major General (Pilot) Salim Hamad Al Nabit.
During the visit, the Bulgarian President was briefed on the history of Al Zaeem College, its establishment and the training and academic programs held at the College, especially with regard to the training of fighter / vertical pilot as well as the training aircraft used and the training systems were also provided with advanced teaching aids and methods for the Bachelor degree in Atmospheric Science, besides the preparation of students and graduates of the College from Qatar and friendly countries.
The President also toured the ground training building, which includes the latest automated systems of aeronautics, and the classrooms and equipment used in them, which is the latest technology in the world. The President expressed his pleasure at what he saw at the College and praised its advanced level compared to the global colleges.
استقبل سعادة الدكتور خالد بن محمد العطية نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدولة لشؤون الدفاع، سعادة السيد رامين راديف رئيس جمهورية بلغاريا، والوفد المرافق له، في كلية الزعيم محمد بن عبدالله العطية الجوية، أثناء زيارته الرسمية للبلاد.
كان في الاستقبال أيضاً سعادة اللواء الركن (طيار) سالم بن حمد عقيل النابت قائد الكلية وعدد من الضباط.
وقد تم تعريف الضيف بتاريخ كلية الزعيم وإنشائها، والبرامج التدريبية والأكاديمية التي تُعقد في الكلية، خاصة فيما يتعلق بتدريب الطيارين مقاتل / عمودي، كما تم عرض الطائرات التدريبية المستخدمة وأنظمة التدريب المساعدة من مشبهات ووسائل تدريبية تعليمية متقدمة، كما تم عرض البرنامج الأكاديمي لدرجة البكالوريوس في العلوم الجوية، وتم التطرق أيضاً إلى إعداد الطلبة والخريجين من الكلية من قطر والدول الصديقة.
ثم قام بجولة ميدانية إلى مبنى التدريب الأرضي، والذي يتضمن أحدث منظومات التشبيه الآلي للطيران، ثم إلى الفصول الدراسية والمعدات المستخدمة فيها والتي تعتبر أحدث ما توصلت إليه التكنولوجيا العالمية.
في الختام، عبّر السيد رامين راديف عن سروره بما رأى في كلية الزعيم، وأشاد بالمستوى المتقدم للكلية مقارنة بالكليات العالمية، بالإضافة إلى تبادل الهدايا التذكارية وأخذ الصور الجماعية.
