Ooredoo Qatar among top in business continuity management
«ooredoo قطر» تنال «الأيزو» في إدارة استمرارية الأعمال
Doha: Ooredoo Qatar recently celebrated the achievement of being certified to the prestigious Business Continuity Standard (ISO22301:2012) by Bureau Veritas, a global leader in third party certification services. Ooredoo Qatar becomes one of the top telecom operators globally to achieve the certification with an enterprise-wide scope.
The certificate was received by Yousuf Abdulla Al Kubaisi, Ooredoo’s Chief Operating Officer, during a ceremony at Ooredoo’s Doha headquarters. The certificate was presented by Consul Pascal Fornage, Head of Economic Department at the French Embassy, in the presence of Ooredoo executives and Bureau Veritas County Chief Executive Selim Kseib.
Speaking of the milestone, Yousuf Abdulla Al Kubaisi, Chief Operating Officer, Ooredoo Qatar, said: “We are very proud as this achievement is a testament of Ooredoo’s commitment to deliver high quality and reliable services to our customers that meet the most stringent international benchmarks. Such an achievement consolidates our position at the forefront of telecommunications globally, and confirms we are fully committed to ensuring the continuity of our services in the face of disruptive events.”
During the ceremony, Bureau Veritas praised Ooredoo for ensuring that the company’s international management systems remain integral to the day-to-day functioning of Ooredoo across all its business processes.
This certification reflects Ooredoo’s continuous efforts to demonstrate its capability to continue provision of reliable products and services by minimising the impact of disruptive incidents.
In addition to this certificate, Ooredoo is also certified for its Quality, Health & Safety, Environment (ISO9001,14001,18001), Information Security (ISO27001) and Service Management (ISO20000) operations.
احتفلت «ooredoo قطر» بإنجازها المتمثل في الحصول على شهادة الأيزو ضمن معيار استمرارية الأعمال «Business Continuity Standard» (ISO22301: 2012) من وكالة الاعتماد العالمية «Bureau Veritas» الرائدة في اعتماد خدمات الطرف الثالث. وبذلك أصبحت «ooredoo» أحد كبار مشغلي خدمات الاتصالات في العالم الذين يحصلون على هذا الاعتماد على مستوى المؤسسة بأكملها.
وتسلّم شهادة «الأيزو» يوسف عبدالله الكبيسي، رئيس العمليات في «ooredoo قطر»، خلال حفل خاص أقيم في المقر الرئيسي للشركة بالدوحة. وقدّم شهادة الاعتماد لـ «ooredoo» سعادة القنصل باسكال فورناج، مدير البعثة الاقتصادية في السفارة الفرنسية بدولة قطر، وبحضور عدد من المسؤولين في «ooredoo»، والسيد سليم قصيب الرئيس التنفيذي لـ «Bureau Veritas» في قطر.
وعن هذا الإنجاز المهم، قال يوسف عبدالله الكبيسي، رئيس العمليات في «ooredoo قطر»: «نعتز بهذا الإنجاز الذي نعتبره دليلاً وتتويجاً لالتزام «ooredoo» بتوفير خدمات موثوقة لعملائنا تتميز بجودتها العالية وتوافقها مع المعايير العالمية. فمثل هذا الإنجاز يعزز مكانتنا في صدارة شركات الاتصالات في العالم، ويؤكد على التزامنا التام بضمان استمرارية خدماتنا في حال حدوث أي طارئ».

وخلال الحفل، أثنت «Bureau Veritas» على «ooredoo» لحرصها على ضمان أن تكون الأنظمة العالمية للإدارة والمطبقة في الشركة جزءاً مكملاً للوظائف اليومية في الشركة في جميع إجراءات أعمالها.

وبالإضافة إلى شهادة «الأيزو» هذه، فقد حصلت «ooredoo» سابقاً على شهادة الجودة لإجراءاتها في مجال الجودة والصحة والسلامة والبيئة (شهادات الأيزو ISO9001, 14001, 18001)، وفي أمن المعلومات (ISO27001)، وفي عمليات إدارة الخدمة (ISO20000).
