Amir and President of Bulgaria hold talks

Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev held official talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Thursday.
During the session they discussed bilateral relations between both countries and ways to boost and develop them in all fields especially agriculture, infrastructure, technology, education and complementary medicine. Both sides also touched on the Qatari-Bulgarian economic forum held in conjunction with the visit of the President, which would contribute to strengthening economic and trade relations between the two countries.
The talks also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
A number of ministers attended the talks.
From the Bulgarian side the talks were attended by members of the delegation accompanying the President.
President of Bulgaria arrived at the Amiri Diwan earlier, where he was accorded an official reception ceremony.
Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of the President of Bulgaria and the delegation accompanying him at the Amiri Diwan.
عقد حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، وفخامة الرئيس رومين راديف رئيس جمهورية بلغاريا، جلسة مباحثات رسمية بالديوان الأميري قبل ظهر أمس.
جرى خلال الجلسة بحث العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الصديقين، والسبل الكفيلة بتطويرها في شتى المجالات، لا سيما في مجالات الزراعة والبنية التحتية والتكنولوجيا والتعليم والطب التكميلي. كما تطرق الجانبان إلى المنتدى الاقتصادي القطري البلغاري المنعقد بالتزامن مع زيارة فخامة الرئيس، والذي من شأنه أن يسهم في تعزيز العلاقات الاقتصادية والتجارية بين البلدين.
وتناولت المباحثات أيضاً عدداً من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية ذات الاهتمام المشترك. حضر المباحثات عدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء، وحضرها من الجانب البلغاري أصحاب السعادة أعضاء الوفد الرسمي المرافق لفخامة الرئيس.
وكان فخامة الرئيس البلغاري قد وصل إلى الديوان الأميري في وقت سابق، حيث أقيمت له مراسم استقبال رسمي.
