QSurvey leads way for innovation in education sector
اتفاقية لاستخدام محرك البحث كيو سيرفي Q-Survey في إجراء أبحاث أكاديمية غير محدودة
Qatar Leadership Centre (QLC) and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education signed yesterday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to pave the way for free, unlimited research in academia.
The MoU aims at enhancing cooperation between the Ministry and QLC on the use of QSurvey – a research support tool for data collection, characterisation and analysis.
The world’s first bilingual online survey tool for the promotion of scientific research, www.QSurvey.qa and its corresponding mobile app were launched in April 2018 under the patronage of H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of the QLC Board of Directors, as a free platform for efficient data storage and processing.
The MoU was signed by Dr Ali J Al Kubaisi, Acting Managing Director at QLC, and Dr Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
“The MoU aims at supporting the activity in the field of research. There are a lot of ongoing research activities. QLS has come up with Qsurvey tool which is very important for any kind of survey for example for the students of schools and university, teachers and employees,” Dr Al Nuaimi told The Peninsula.
Dr Al Kubaisi said that the objective of MoU is to provide the Ministry with one of the most advanced tools of survey engine which would be used over the Ministry. “Many stockholders of the Ministry including students, teachers and administrative staff can rely on QSurvey in collecting and analyzing the data in order to come upon a decision regarding their studies and strategies,” said Al Kubaisi.
He said that the most important is this engine is provided for free of cost for all types of the user’s individuals or corporate. The access required only to create user name and passwords.
Remarking on the long-term benefits of the joint initiative Al Kubaisi, said: “We are proud to enter into a partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education – one of our flagship national institutions.”
“Today’s agreement between QLC and the Ministry will enrich the decision-making process and analytical skills of Qatari youths through QSurvey as an innovative research platform that can inspire their curiosity as scholars and – ultimately – key stakeholders in Qatar’s future national development framework,” he concluded.
Al Nuaimi, said: “We are pleased to enter into the MoU agreement with QLC to mark our cooperation on the use of QSurvey – a research support tool for data collection, characterization and analysis. We look forward to engaging in visits and knowledge-exchange with our new partner as we develop a framework of cooperation that enhances the collaborative use of the QSurvey search engine.”
Highlighting the advantages of the QSurvey search engine, Dr Al Nuaimi, said: “The MoU promotes a national product with Arabic language integration, in addition to key areas of cooperation in scientific research, employment, workshops and joint courses.”
QSurvey is a highly versatile survey tool that allows organisations to securely draw on data in order to engage with the relevant stakeholders, complement projects and decision-making processes with accurate statistics, package respondent information easily for presentations, as well as export data to licensed enterprise IT systems.
Researchers can rely on the tool’s secure data storage with native Arabic and English-language support and survey options.
Furthermore, users can analyze and export data onto a system of their choice, making it uniquely practical across a broad range of IT operation systems, such as Excel, PDF, and SPSS.
Notably, the tool provides private, public and government organizations with secure and flexible services to gather internal and external reporting information, and opens the pathway for free, unlimited creative research to users.

وقع مركز قطر للقيادات اليوم، مذكرة تفاهم مع وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي لاستخدام محرك البحث كيو سيرفي Q-Survey في إجراء أبحاث أكاديمية غير محدودة.
وقد أطلق مركز قطر للقيادات محرك الاستبيان على الإنترنت www.QSurvey.qa، بالإضافة إلى تطبيق الهاتف الجوال، في شهر إبريل من العام الماضي، كأول أداة استبيان عبر الإنترنت ثنائية اللغة في العالم تهدف لتعزيز البحث العلمي، كونها منصة عالية الكفاءة لتخزين ومعالجة البيانات.
وفي تعليقه على هذه الشراكة، أعرب الدكتور علي جاسم الكبيسي، المدير التنفيذي بالإنابة لمركز قطر للقيادات عن سعادته بتوقيع هذه المذكرة مع وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، التي تعتبر واحدة من المؤسسات الوطنية الرائدة خاصة وأنهما يتعاونان لتحقيق هدف مشترك يتمثل في تطوير رأس المال البشري من خلال مبادرات التعليم.
وأضاف أن المذكرة الموقعة اليوم، بين المركز والوزارة تثري عملية صنع القرار والمهارات التحليلية للشباب القطري من خلال Q-Survey باعتباره منصة أبحاث مبتكرة من شأنها أن تلهم فضولهم كباحثين وأصحاب مصلحة في إطار التنمية الوطنية المستقبلية لدولة قطر.
من جانبه، أكد سعادة الدكتور إبراهيم بن صالح النعيمي وكيل وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، أهمية هذه المذكرة في دعم البحوث واستخدام محرك البحث Q-Survey لتجميع البيانات وتوصيفها وتحليلها وتبادل الزيارات والخبرات والاستفادة من الإمكانات المتوافرة لدى الطرفين، بما في ذلك وضع إطار للتعاون بينهما يعزز الدعم والتنسيق في استخدام هذا المحرك المبتكر.
وأضاف أن المذكرة تعتبر إضافة نوعية لتبادل الخبرات وأفضل الممارسات، وتعزز الشراكة مع مركز قطر للقيادات كبيت خبرة وشريك أساسي في منظومة التعليم، مما يسهل العمل البحثي للوزارة، ويسهم في بناء القدرات البحثية لقطاع التعليم والتدريب عامة ولمنتسبي الوزارة على وجه الخصوص.
وأشاد سعادة الدكتور النعيمي بمزايا محرك البحث كمنتج وطني يدعم اللغة العربية وبمجالات التعاون العديدة والمهمة التي شملتها مذكرة التفاهم، لاسيما دعم البحث العلمي وتوظيفه بما يخدم رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، وتقديم ورش العمل والدورات المشتركة، مؤكدا أن تنمية المهارات البحثية يعد هدفا استراتيجيا للوزارة ويلعب دورا محوريا في أداء العملية التعليمية والتربوية وعليه يتوقف نجاح التطوير التربوي.
وقال إن وزارة التعليم وضعت تدريب القيادات المدرسية والمعلمين والطلبة وتطوير مهاراتهم البحثية على قمة أولوياتها، لبناء قدراتهم البحثية وتمكينهم من استيعاب المتغيرات والاتجاهات الحديثة في العملية التعليمية والتربوية، حتى تلبي المخرجات متطلبات التنمية المستدامة، في عالم تتجدد فيه المعارف وتتغير فيه المهارات بوتيرة متسارعة، معربا عن أمله في أن يؤدي توقيع هذ المذكرة إلى تسهيل جميع هذه المهام وأن ينعكس هذا التعاون على مصلحة الطلبة والنظام التعليمي بكل مكوناته.
