Petrol and diesel to cost more in March

Doha: Qatar Petroleum (QP) has announced the fuel prices for the month of March 2019. They have increased the price of super and premium petrol prices by 5 dirhams. Price of diesel will go up by 15 dirhams.
A statement on QP website showed that premium grade petrol will cost QR 1.55 in March, 5 dirhams more than February.
Super will be available for QR 1.60 in March, 5 dirhams more than February.
Diesel will cost QR1.85 in March, 15 dirhams more than February price of QR 1.70.
QP had not changed the prices of premium and super grade petrol in February and had slashed the prices in January 2019.
They had reduced premium and super grade petrol prices by 30 dirhams in Januray.
In December also the price of both grades were reduced by 25 dirhams compared to November.
When the first list was announced in June 2016 the premium petrol was QR1.20 per litre, super QR1.30 per litre and diesel QR1.40 per litre. From April 2016, the Ministry of Energy and Industry had started pegging the fuel prices to the international market.
From September 2017, it is Qatar Petroleum who is announcing the monthly price list.
أعلنت قطر للبترول عن أسعار مادتي الديزل والجازولين، وذلك عن شهر مارس من العام الجاري 2019.
وحددت قطر للبترول، في بيان صادر عنها اليوم، سعر لتر “الديزل” بـ 1.85 ريال، وسعر لتر الجازولين 95 (سوبر) بـ 1.60 ريال، والجازولين 91 (ممتاز) بـ 1.55 ريال قطري.
وسجل سعر ليتر الديزل 1.70 ريال خلال شهر فبراير، فيما كان سعر الجازولين 95 (سوبر) 1.55 ريال لليتر الواحد، وجازولين 91 (عادي) 1.50 ريال لليتر الواحد.
