Education Ministry & QRCS to launch school Red Crescent
تعاون بين «الهلال القطري» و«التعليم» لتنفيذ البرنامج المدرسي

Doha: The officials from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) have discussed ways to develop joint cooperation areas, especially the school Red Crescent programme, which is implemented in various public and private schools in the country.
They also discussed steps taken to develop it as a strategic project of the QRCS and aimed to instil a culture of charitable and voluntary work in new generations, who constitute the foundation of the society and its future. This came during a meeting between Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Dr Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, QRCS Executive Director Ibrahim Abdullah Al Maliki, Head of Local Development Mona Fadel Al Sulaiti and a number of ministry officials.
During the meeting, the three main themes of the school Red Crescent program were reviewed, through which the QRCS seeks to educate students and the school community regarding the basic principles and skills of victims of various accidents, as well as a pilot project in terms of goals and vision, by training young people on how to deal with earthquake disasters, applying systematic evacuation skills to reduce loss of life, and the social integration project.
قام وفد رسمي من الهلال الأحمر القطري بزيارة تعريفية لوزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، بهدف بحث سبل تطوير مجالات التعاون المشتركة، وعلى رأسها برنامج الهلال الأحمر المدرسي الذي ينفذ في مختلف المدارس الحكومية والخاصة بالدولة، بناء على اتفاقية التعاون المبرمة بين الجانبين.
ضم وفد الهلال الأحمر القطري كلاً من السيد إبراهيم عبدالله المالكي المدير التنفيذي، والسيدة منى فاضل السليطي رئيسة التنمية المحلية، وكان في استقبالهما بمكتبه سعادة الدكتور إبراهيم صالح النعيمي وكيل وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، بحضور كل من السيدة فوزية عبدالعزيز الخاطر الوكيل المساعد للشؤون التعليمية، والسيد محمد عبدالله المراغي مدير إدارة الصحة والسلامة. وأوضحت السيدة منى السليطي أنه جرى خلال الاجتماع تسليط الضوء على الخطوات التي تم اتخاذها لتطوير برنامج الهلال الأحمر المدرسي، الذي يعد من المشاريع الاستراتيجية للهلال الأحمر القطري، كونه يتوجه إلى غرس ثقافة العمل الخيري والتطوعي في نفوس الأجيال الجديدة، الذين يشكلون عماد المجتمع ومستقبله.
