Chief of Staff attends US ceremony
رئيس الأركان يحضر مراسم تسلّم قائد جديد لـ «المركزية الأميركية»
HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, Lieutenant General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem, has represented Qatar in the ceremony held in Tampa, Florida by the US Central Command for the Middle-East on the occasion of General Frank Mckenzie’s assumption of command and the retirement of the US Central Command’s commander General Joseph Votel. The ceremony was attended by Qatar’s ambassador to the US Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad al-Thani, and military attache at the embassy in Washington Colonel Nawaf bin Mubarak al-Thani.
حضر سعادة الفريق الركن طيار غانم بن شاهين الغانم رئيس أركان القوات المسلحة القطرية، ممثلاً لدولة قطر، مراسم الحفل الذي أقامته القيادة المركزية الأميركية في الشرق الأوسط، بمناسبة تسلم الجنرال فرانك ماكينزي قيادتها، وتقاعد قائدها السابق الجنرال جوزيف فوتيل، في مدينة تامبا بولاية فلوريدا.
حضر الحفل سعادة الشيخ مشعل بن حمد آل ثاني سفير دولة قطر لدى الولايات المتحدة الأميركية، والعقيد الركن نواف بن مبارك آل ثاني ملحق الدفاع العسكري بالسفارة في واشنطن.
