Amiri Naval Forces holds joint exercise with British Royal Navy Forces

The Amiri Naval Forces carried out a joint exercise with British Royal Navy forces in the waters of the State of Qatar. The phases of the exercise included training on how to maneuvre and how to defend the ship in the event of an external attack, as well as a visit and inspection exercise and other exercises that contribute to the exchange of experiences between the two countries. The Commander of the exercise, Captain Naser Ayed Al Qahtani, said that these exercises aim to raise the efficiency of crews and standardize concepts, and that they are within cooperation agreements between the two countries in the fields of training and planning on all tasks and duties required.

نفذت القوات البحرية الأميرية القطرية تمرين العبور المشترك مع القوات الملكية البحرية البريطانية في المياه الاقتصادية لدولة قطر. وتضمنت مراحل التمرين تدريباً على كيفية المناورات البحرية وكيفية الدفاع عن السفينة في حال تعرضها لهجوم خارجي، كما تناول تمرين الزيارة والتفتيش وغيرها من التمارين التي تساهم في تبادل الخبرات بين البلدين. وذكر النقيب (بحري) ناصر عايض القحطاني قائد التمرين، أن هذه التمارين تهدف إلى رفع كفاءة أطقم المراكب وتوحيد المفاهيم وتعتبر ضمن اتفاقيات التعاون بين البلدين الصديقين في مجالات التدريب والتخطيط على جميع المهام والواجبات المطلوبة.
