MEC issued 688 licences for discounts & promotions

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has released its monthly report on special licences issued in December 2018. The report said 688 licenses for discounts, festivals and final liquidation were issued including 229 licences for discounts, 458 licences for festivals and one license for final liquidation.

The report also indicated that a total of 350 licences were issued in December including Swipe and Win; prize draws; special offers and promotional offers.

A total of 64 promotional offer licenses were granted for companies selling goods in malls and retail shops while 269 licenses were granted for special offers including new prices; buy one, get one for free; and buy one, get the second one for half the price.

Also, four licenses for prize draws were also awarded in December while 13 licences for Swipe and Win were issued.

أصدرت وزارة التجارة والصناعة تقريرها الشهري عن التراخيص النوعية لشهر ديسمبر 2018، حيث بلغ عدد التراخيص الممنوحة للبيع عن طريق الأسعار المخفضة (التنزيلات والمهرجانات والتصفية النهائية) 688 ترخيصاً، شملت 229 رخصة للتنزيلات، و458 رخصة للمهرجانات، ورخصة واحدة للتصفية النهائية.

وأشار التقرير إلى أن عدد تراخيص العروض والتي تشمل: (امسح واربح – السحب على جوائز – العروض الخاصة – العروض الترويجية) بلغ في شهر ديسمبر الماضي 350 ترخيصاً، حيث بلغ عدد التراخيص الممنوحة للعروض الترويجية 64 ترخيصاً للشركات على السلع بالمراكز والمحال التجارية، في حين بلغ عدد التراخيص الممنوحة للعروض الخاصة 269 ترخيصاً تنوعت بين أسعار جديدة، واشتري قطعة واحصل على الأخرى مجاناً، واشتري قطعة واحصل على الأخرى بنصف السعر وغيرها.

هذا وقد أشار التقرير إلى أن عدد التراخيص الممنوحة لعروض امسح واربح خلال شهر ديسمبر الماضي بلغ 4 تراخيص، بينما تم منح 13 ترخيصاً لعروض السحب على جوائز.;
