Amir chairs SC meeting; reviews Qatar 2022 projects
صاحب السمو يترأس اجتماع «الإرث».. ويستعرض منجزات مشاريع مونديال 2022
Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani chaired the second meeting of the Board of Directors of Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC) for 2018, held yesterday at Al Bahr Palace.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Amir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani and H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of the Amir and Vice-Chairman of the board.
Board member, Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also attended the meeting along with the rest of the members.
The meeting reviewed the latest developments of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 projects and what has been completed during the last period.
A presentation was made on the overall achievements and operational plans for the country’s major projects related to the tournament, such as Hamad International Airport and Qatar Rail.
ترأس حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، الاجتماع الثاني لمجلس إدارة اللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث لعام 2018، الذي عُقد بقصر البحر مساء أمس. حضر الاجتماع سمو الشيخ عبدالله بن حمد آل ثاني نائب الأمير، كما حضر سمو الشيخ جاسم بن حمد آل ثاني الممثل الشخصي للأمير نائب رئيس مجلس الإدارة، وحضره أيضاً معالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية عضو المجلس وبقية الأعضاء. جرى خلال الاجتماع، استعراض آخر مستجدات مشاريع بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم «قطر 2022» التي أنجزت خلال الفترة الماضية. كما تم تقديم عرض عن مجمل المنجزات التي تحققت، والخطط التشغيلية للمشاريع الحيوية في الدولة ذات العلاقة بالبطولة كمطار حمد الدولي، وشركة سكك الحديد القطرية «الريل».;
