Qatar Charity receives in-kind donations from ‘Qatar Cool’

Doha: Qatar Charity’s (QC) in-kind donations project ‘Tayf’ has received donation from Qatar District Cooling Company (Qatar Cool), which will be channeled to support charity works benefiting low-income families and workers.

The benefactions were delivered at the Qatar Cool’s building in the presence of Nahar Al Mutawa, head of the Operations and Maintenance Sector at the company. Fareed Khaleel Al Siddieqy, Director of Projects and Centers Department at Qatar Charity expressed his pride in this initiative, which instills the values of love of humanitarian and voluntary work in the company’s employees, contributes to serving the local community, and supports the charity’s humanitarian projects for the low-income workers.

Al Siddieqy underlined the readiness of the charity to cooperate with all, either institutions or individuals, within the country to serve the noble humanitarian goals. He also thanked Qatar Cool and its staff who contributed to this great humanitarian work.

“We are keen to participate in activities that benefit the local community and our company organises many other activities,” said Nahar Al Mutawah, head of Operations and Maintenance Sector at Qatar Cool.

“Our contribution came in the form of unused clothes, as we believe that the investment of surplus resources is necessary and positive. Through this contribution, we aim to ease the burdens on low-income families and workers, and encourage other institutions and companies to participate in such charitable and humanitarian campaigns”, Mutawah added.

He also applauded QC’s humanitarian efforts to support the low-income people, pointing out that Qatar Cool will participate in such initiatives organised by Qatar Charity in the future.

Qatar Charity receives in-kind donations, including clothes, shoes, children toys, furniture and electronic appliances for its ‘Tayf” projects to benefit workers and families with low-income.

تسلم مشروع التبرعات العينية «طيف» التابع لـ «قطر الخيرية» تبرعات عينية من الشركة القطرية لتبريد المناطق «قطر كـوول»، حيث سيتم توجيه ريعها لصالح الأعمال الخيرية التي تستفيد منها الأسر ذات الدخل المحدود والعمال.

وقد جرى تسلم التبرعات في مبنى شركة «قطر كول» بحضور السيد نهار المطاوعة رئيس قطاع العمليات والصيانة في الشركة.

مبادرة طيبة

وعبر السيد فريد الصديقي مدير إدارة المشاريع والمراكز بإدارة التنمية المحلية لدى «قطر الخيرية»، عن اعتزازه بهذه المبادرة الطيبة التي تغرس قيم حب العمل الإنساني والتطوعي في نفوس موظفي الشركة، وتساهم في خدمة المجتمع المحلي وتدعم المشاريع الإنسانية التي تخصصها «قطر الخيرية» لمحدودي الدخل وفئة العمال.

وأكد الصديقي أن «قطر الخيرية» تمد أواصر الشراكة والتعاون مع جميع الجهات (مؤسسات وأفراد) داخل الدولة لخدمة الأهداف الإنسانية النبيلة، مقدماً شكره للقائمين على شركة «قطر كوول» وموظفيها الذين ساهموا في هذا العمل الإنساني الجليل.

من جهته، أكد السيد نهار المطاوعة رئيس قطاع العمليات والصيانة بشركة «قطر كـوول» حرص الشركة الدائم والمستمر على المشاركة في أنشطة تعود بالفائدة على المجتمع المحلي، مشيراً إلى أن الشركة تقيم أنشطة خدمية متنوعة.

وقال: «إننا نسعى دوماً إلى المشاركة في مثل هذه المبادرات الطيبة، التي نهدف من خلالها إلى المساهمة في الخدمة المجتمعية، انطلاقاً من مسؤوليتنا تجاه دولة قطر وشعبها الكريم».

إعادة التدوير الخيري

وأضاف المطاوعة: «إن مساهمتنا جاءت في شكل ملابس غير مستخدمة إيماناً منا بأن استثمار الموارد الزائدة عن الحاجة أمر ضروري وإيجابي، ونهدف من خلالها إلى تخفيف الأعباء عن الأسر ذات الدخل المحدود والعمال، وتشجيع مؤسسات وشركات أخرى على المشاركة في مثل هذه الحملات الخيرية والإنسانية».

كما أشاد بجهود «قطر الخيرية» ومسيرتها الإنسانية لإسعاد الفئات محدودة الدخل، منوهاً بأن شركة «قطر كوول» ستشارك في مثل هذه المبادرات التي تنظمها «قطر الخيرية» في المستقبل. يشار إلى أن «قطر الخيرية» تمكن الأفراد والمؤسسات من التبرع بالملابس والألعاب والأدوات المنزلية من خلال مشروعها الرائد «طيف» للتبرعات العينية التابع لها، حيث تقوم «قطر الخيرية» بجمع هذه التبرعات وتوزيعها حسب الحاجة على المستهدفين، أو بيعها وتخصيص ريعها لصالح المشاريع الإنسانية المخصصة للعمال والأسر ذات الدخل المحدود.;
