Qatari Fine Art Exhibition Inaugurated in Katara

Doha: The Qatari Fine Art Exhibition was inaugurated on Tuesday evening at the Katara Cultural Village with the presence of a large number of Qatari artists, several diplomatic missions members and a pool of artists as well as interested people.

The exhibition includes works of elite Qatari fine art artists who led the way in the field and organized several exhibitions internally and externally, representing Qatar in multiple international art events. Their works showcase the Qatari reality in the past and present, and the exhibition comprises works of several Qatari artists from different art schools and visions.

Speaking to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), Wafika Sultan, an artist, said that the exhibition includes a group of promising artists, reaffirming the importance of such an exhibition in shedding light on the artistic capabilities and creations of the artists and stressing the beneficial sides of the expertise and diversity of the art schools.

For her part, Moudhi Al Hajri, an artist, clarified in a similar statement that the Qatari Fine Art Exhibition is renewed every now and then, in which a pool of artists are selected with a set of their artistic works for exposition. She indicated that her participation in this exhibition with two patrimonial works realized with a graphic style, includes a set of photos combined to highlight aspects of the patrimonial life.

In a similar statement to QNA, the artist Mariem Al Mala expressed her happiness to participate in the Qatari Fine Art Exhibition, observing that the exhibition is permanent and continuous because of the participation of different generations: the pioneers, the middle, and young generations, whereby paintings differ and opportunities open up for other artists.

The organizing of the Qatari Fine Art Exhibition by Katara is part of its constant eagerness to boost the fine art field with promising artistic works, as well as supporting the Qatari artists. This adds flavor to the art scene and satisfies the artists’ taste.

الدوحة: افتتح في المؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي كتارا معرض الفن التشكيلي القطري وذلك بحضور عدد كبير من الفنانين القطريين وعدد من أعضاء البعثات الدبلوماسية لدى الدولة ونخبة من الفنانين والمهتمين.

ويضم المعرض أعمالا لنخبة من الفنانين التشكيليين القطريين الذين حملوا شعلة الفن التشكيلي وأقاموا العديد من المعارض داخليا وخارجيا ليمثلوا قطر في العديد من المحافل الفنية الدولية، وتبرز أعمالهم الواقع القطري في الماضي والحاضر، ويضم المعرض أعمالا لعدد من الفنانين التشكيليين القطريين من مدارس ورؤى مختلفة لهذا الفن.

وبهذه المناسبة، قالت الفنانة التشكيلية وفيقة سلطان في تصريح خاص لوكالة الأنباء القطرية “قنا” إن المعرض يضم كوكبة من الفنانين الواعدين، مؤكدة أهمية هذا المعرض في إظهار قدرات التشكيليين الفنية وإبداعاتهم، والاستفادة أيضا من الخبرات والتنوع في المدارس الفنية.

من جهتها، قالت الفنانة التشكيلية موضي الهاجري في تصريح مماثل لـ”قنا” إن معرض الفن التشكيلي القطري هو معرض متجدد في كل فترة، يتم فيه اختيار كوكبة من الفنانين مع مجموعة من أعمالهم الفنية للعرض، مشيرة إلى أن مشاركتها في هذا المعرض بعملين عن التراث نفذتهما بأسلوب جرافيكي، يتضمن مجموعة من الصور تم دمجها لإبراز جوانب من الحياة التراثية.

وعبرت الفنانة التشكيلية مريم الملا في تصريح مماثل لـ”قنا” عن سعادتها بالمشاركة في معرض الفن التشكيلي القطري، مشيرة إلى أن المعرض يتميز بأنه دائم ومستمر بمشاركة الفنانين من مختلف الأجيال من الرواد وجيل الوسط وجيل الشباب، حيث تتغير اللوحات وتتاح فرص لفنانين آخرين.

وتأتي إقامة كتارا لمعرض الفن التشكيلي القطري في إطار حرصها الدائم على رفد الساحة التشكيلية بأعمال فنية واعدة، علاوة على دعم الفنانين القطريين، من أجل إثراء المشهد ومواكبة أصحاب الذائقة الفنية.
