Campaign to remove abandoned vehicles from Al Shamal to begin tomorrow
حملة نظافة شاملة بـ «صناعية الشمال»
Doha: Al Shamal Municipality has announced to launch a joint campaign tomorrow in collaboration with General Cleanliness Department to remove abandoned vehicles, motorboats and porta-cabins at Al Shamal Industrial Area.
Under the campaign, solid wastes like woods and steels will also be cleaned up from the area to protect the environment and make the area beautiful, said the Ministry of Municipality and Environment in a statement.
“Al Shamal Municipality began putting stickers on erring vehicles, motorboats and porta-cabins from yesterday, warning their owners to remove them before the beginning of crackdown on Sunday,” said Hasan Al Faihani, Acting Director of Al Shamal Municipality. He said that inspectors will be visiting garages and industrial firms to book violations.
Al Faihani called on owners of erring firms to rectify their situation before the beginning of the campaign. Acting Director of Al Shamal Municipality urged people to cooperate with the Ministry to maintain hygiene across the country specially in cities.
أعلنت بلدية الشمال عن قيامها بتنفيذ حملة مشتركة مع إدارة النظافة العامة اعتباراً من يوم الأحد المقبل (30 ديسمبر)، لإزالة السيارات المهملة والطرادات والكبائن الخشبية (البورت كابن) ومواد الحديد والأخشاب المتروكة بطريقة عشوائية في منطقة صناعية الشمال، مما يؤثر سلباً على سلامة البيئة والمنظر الجمالي العام.
وأوضح السيد حسن الفيحاني مدير بلدية الشمال بالإنابة، أن البلدية بدأت من اليوم (الخميس)، وضع الملصقات التحذيرية (الاستكرات) على السيارات المهملة والبورت كابن والطرادات المخالفة، تمهيداً لبدء إزالتها يوم الأحد المقبل، موضحاً أن فرق التفتيش سوف تبدأ أعمالها أيضاً بنفس اليوم من خلال تحرير المخالفات لجميع الكراجات والمنشآت الصناعية المخالفة.
وتدعو بلدية الشمال أصحاب جميع المخالفين من أصحاب الكراجات وغيرهم بتصحيح أوضاعهم وإزالة جميع المخالفات قبل بدء تنفيذ الحملة، وأهابت بالجميع التعاون مع وزارة البلدية والبيئة للحفاظ على النظافة العامة لمدن ومناطق الدولة.
