Katara Publishing House Publishes New Issue of Culture Magazine

Doha: The fourth issue of “Culture”, a quarterly magazine published by the Katara Publishing House, has hit the stands.
The new issue includes a plethora of cultural, heritage and artistic topics, including the most prominent tourist landmarks in the State of Qatar and the events held during the past three months.
In its fourth issue, the magazine dedicated a wide space on the cover subject which is related to the official song for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, through conducting media interviews with the Qatari artists who had performed the official soundtrack of song titled “Hayya… Hayya”, in collaboration with international artists, reflecting the entire harmonization between sports and art as both are considered vital goals protected by the State of Qatar.
The magazine’s editorial article by Editor-in-Cheif Khalid Abdulrahim came under the title: “We have Achieved Our Goal in Cultural Communication”, while executive editor of the magazine Sheikha Shaikha bint Hamad Ahmad Al-Thani tackled in her article the role of “Culture” magazine in covering a broad range of cultural sector landmarks in Qatar, in addition to flagging up the works of the artists and innovators, including those personalities working in the innovative industry, pointing out that the current issue of the magazine summarizes the cultural projects being carried out ahead of world cup tournament.
The current issue includes a topic on falconry heritage by Muhammad bin Abdul Latif Al Misnad, vice-president of the Al-Gannas Association, who elaborated about the association’s role in valuing land hunting, such as falconry, Saluki and rifles, in addition to its role in developing the hobby of falconry.
The magazine conducted a wide range of interviews pertaining to the cultural affair, including interviews with Director of Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum Abdullah Yousef Al Mulla and HE Ambassador of Japan to the State of Qatar Satoshi Maeda on the advanced relations between the state of Qatar and Japan in all fields, especially the cultural and artistic fields, who also talked about the diplomatic relations between the two countries that lasted for fifty years. The magazine flagged up the role of French cultural center in solidifying the cultural relations between the State of Qatar and France.

الدوحة: صدر حديثا العدد الرابع من المجلة الفصلية “ثقافة” (يوليو – سبتمبر 2022)، التي تصدر كل ثلاثة أشهر باللغة الإنجليزية عن دار كتارا للنشر.
واشتمل العدد الجديد على عدد من الموضوعات الثقافية والتراثية، والفنية، إلى جانب إبراز المعالم السياحية في الدولة، وأبرز الفعاليات التي أقيمت خلال الأشهر الثلاثة الماضية.
وأفردت المجلة في عددها الرابع مساحة مقدرة لموضوع الغلاف، الذي يتعلق بالأغنية الرسمية لبطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 ، من خلال إجراء حوارات مع الفنانين القطريين الذين قاموا بأداء الأغنية التي تحمل عنوان “هيا .. هيا” بالاشتراك مع فنانين عالميين، مما يعكس الانسجام التام بين الرياضة والفن، وكلاهما هدفان مهمان تصونهما قطر.
وجاء المقال الافتتاحي الذي كتبه السيد/ خالد عبد الرحيم السيد رئيس التحرير تحت عنوان /لقد حققنا هدفنا في التواصل الثقافي/، فيما تطرقت الشيخة شيخة بنت حمد أحمد آل ثاني مدير التحرير التنفيذي للمجلة في مقالها إلى دور مجلة “ثقافة” في تغطية معالم القطاع الثقافي في قطر، وتسليط الضوء على الفنانين والمبدعين وأعمالهم ومؤلفاتهم، والمزيد من الشخصيات العاملة في الصناعة الإبداعية، مشيرة إلى أن هذا العدد من المجلة يلخص المشاريع الثقافية التي تجري قبل بطولة كأس العالم.
وضم العدد موضوعا عن تراث الصيد بالصقور، في حديث مطول مع السيد محمد عبد اللطيف المسند نائب رئيس جمعية القناص القطرية، تحدث خلاله عن دور جمعية القناص في الاهتمام بأنواع الصيد البري، مثل الصيد بالصقور والسلوقي والبنادق، إلى جانب دورها في تطوير هواية الصقارة وتنظيمها على أسس علمية تساعد على انتشارها ومعرفة الجيل الجديد بها.
وضمن الموضوعات ذات الطابع التراثي تناول العدد الأكلات الشعبية القطرية، وطريقة صنعها وكيفية تقديمها، من خلال حوار مع السيدة شمس القصبي.
وأجرت المجلة عددا من الحوارات المعنية بالشأن الثقافي، منها حوار مع السيد عبد الله يوسف الملا مدير متحف قطر الأولمبي والرياضي 321، وسعادة السيد ساتوشي مايدا سفير اليابان لدى الدولة عن العلاقات المتقدمة بين قطر واليابان في المجالات كافة، وبوجه خاص في المجال الثقافي والفني، كما تحدث عن 50 عاما من العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين البلدين، كما أظهرت المجلة دور المركز الثقافي الفرنسي في توطيد العلاقات الثقافية بين دولة قطر والجمهورية الفرنسية في لقاء مع فريق إدارة المركز الثقافي الفرنسي.
وأبرزت مجلة /ثقافة/ عددا من التجارب الإبداعية في قطر، ومنها تجربة الفنان التشكيلي أحمد المعاضيد، والفنانة دانة الفردان، إلى جانب استعراض عدد من الفعاليات والمبادرات الثقافية الوطنية.
