First ‘Build Your House’ attracts over 8,600 visitors during 3-day expo
٨٦٠٠ شخص زاروا النسخة الأولى من معرض “ابنِ بيتك ٢٠٢٠” خلال ثلاث أيام
The first edition of Build Your House (BYH) 2020 has attracted over 8,600 visitors during its three-day run at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC).
The inaugural edition of BYH 2020 saw participation from 120 exhibitors and hosted over 30 workshops and seminars.
Held under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al-Thani, the exhibition was officially inaugurated by HE the Minister of Commerce and Industry Ali bin Ahmed al-Kuwari.
The opening ceremony was held in the presence of HE Ghanem Mubarak al-Kuwari assistant undersecretary for Social Affairs at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs; Abdulaziz bin Nasser al-Khalifa, CEO of Qatar Development Bank (QDB); Ali bin Hassan al-Hamadi, secretary general of Qatar Red Crescent; engineer Youssef al-Emadi, projects affairs director at Ashghal; and engineer Jassim Mohamed al-Ansari, director of the Green Line Project at Qatar Rail.
Over 90% of the visitors who attended the exhibition were Qatari nationals, according to NeXTFairs, the organiser of the exhibition. The first-of-its-kind exhibition held in Qatar, BYH 2020 helped Qatari nationals understand the processes and procedures involved in house construction. Thirty experts from various ministries, government entities, and industry heads hosted the numerous workshops and gave advice on legal and financial matters as well as tips on home decoration and design ideas. The exhibition also served as a conduit between various segments of the house-building industry like contractors and consultants, and potential customers.
Rawad Sleem, managing director of NeXTfairs, said: “The level of participation from exhibitors, the level of public interest, the packed attendance at the workshops and seminars, and the knowledge and expertise of the speakers have all gone beyond our expectations. For the prosperity of its citizens and to ensure their social stability, the Qatari government has allocated the largest budget in 2020 for the processing of lands for them for building a personal residence.
“Build Your House 2020 was organised in time to provide the right help and advice to the citizens to go ahead with their house building projects. The huge demand for such an exhibition is encouraging us to return next year with the second edition of Build Your House, which will be bigger and better than this year.”
ذكر منظمو معرض “ابن بيتك 2020” أن عدد زوار النسخة الأول من الحدث والذي استمرت فعالياته على مدار ثلاثة أيام فاق 8600 شخص بمشاركة أكثر من 120 عارض وتقديم أكثر من 30 ورشة عمل ومحاضرة.
واستهدف المعرض المواطنين القطريين الراغبين في الحصول على أفكار ومعلومات حول بناء بيوتهم الجديدة أو تجديد بيوتهم الحالية حيث شكل المواطنون أكثر من 90 في المئة من زوار المعرض.
كما ساهم معرض /ابن بيتك/، الأول من نوعه في قطر، في تعريف المواطنين القطريين على فهم كامل الإجراءات والعمليات اللازمة لبناء البيوت. وشارك ثلاثون خبيرا من مختلف الهيئات الحكومية والوزارات في العديد من ورش العمل والندوات وقدموا نصائحهم حول الشؤون القانونية والمالية المرافقة لعمليات البناء وقدموا أفكارا عن التصميم والديكور حيث أتاح المعرض منصة تواصل بين مختلف القطاعات المعنية ببناء البيوت مثل المقاولين والاستشاريين والزبائن المحتملين.
وشهدت النسخة الأولى تنظيم ورش عمل وندوات بمشاركة أكثر من 30 خبيرا من القطاعين العام والخاص وقسمت وفق مواضيع مهمة مستوحاة من أحدث التوجهات السائدة في بناء المنازل من مختلف أرجاء العالم. وقد شكلت ورش العمل قيمة مضافة إلى المعرض حيث شارك متحدثون خبراتهم ومعارفهم مع الحضور لتقديم الإرشادات والنصائح والأفكار لاستكمال المشروع القادم.
وشهدت ورش العمل والندوات إقبالا كثيفا من خلال التسجيل المسبق قبل بدء المعرض، وتناولت مواضيع متنوعة منها التمويل الإسلامي والجوانب القانونية للعقود والتصميم المعماري والداخلي. وشكلت الاستدامة موضوعا رئيسيا في الجلسات حيث قدم الخبراء للحضور معلومات قيمة حول كيفية بناء منزل مستدام وقليل الاستهلاك للطاقة تماشيا مع رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030.
كما قدم الخبراء نصائح وتوجيهات حول تصميم المطابخ والحمامات ضمن جلسة مفصلة أظهرت كيفية استخدام التكنولوجيا والإدارة المثالية للتخزين.
إلى جانب ذلك، تناولت الجلسات أفكارا حول تصميم حدائق المنازل وحول كيفية إيجاد التأقلم المناسب بين الثقافات والتقاليد وتصميم البيوت الحديثة الفاخرة وتجهيزها بأحدث المرافق والتصاميم. وشكلت ورش العمل والندوات منصة لتقديم كافة المعلومات التي يحتاجها الزوار لبناء بيوتهم على أرض الواقع.
وحظي معرض ابن بيتك 2020 بدعم من وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة، ووزارة البلدية والبيئة، ووزارة التنمية الإدارية والعمل والشؤون الاجتماعية، وهيئة الأشغال العامة (أشغال) والإدارة العاملة للدفاع المدني.
