Amir, Oman’s Interior Minister review strategic ties

DOHA: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Minister of Interior of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, who called on H H the Amir to greet him on the occasion of his visit to the country to attend the 12th International Exhibition of Internal Security and Civil Defense (Milipol Qatar 2018).

At the outset of the meeting, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi conveyed the greetings of H M Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman to H H the Amir and his wishes of further health and happiness, and to the people of Qatar further progress and prosperity.

H H the Amir entrusted the Omani Interior Minister to convey his wishes of good health and happiness to H M Sultan Qaboos bin Said, and more progress and prosperity to the Omani people.

The meeting reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries and means of developing and enhancing them.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.

استقبل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، في مكتبه بالديوان الأميري، صباح أمس، معالي السيد حمود بن فيصل البوسعيدي وزير الداخلية بسلطنة عمان الشقيقة والوفد المرافق له، وذلك للسلام على سموه بمناسبة زيارته للبلاد لحضور المعرض الدولي الثاني عشر للأمن الداخلي والدفاع المدني «ميليبول قطر 2018».

وفي بداية اللقاء، نقل معالي السيد حمود بن فيصل البوسعيدي تحيات جلالة السلطان قابوس بن سعيد سلطان عمان الشقيقة، إلى سمو أمير البلاد المفدى، وتمنياته للشعب القطري المزيد من التقدم والازدهار.

من جانبه، حمّل سمو أمير البلاد المفدى، معالي وزير الداخلية، تمنياته إلى أخيه جلالة السلطان قابوس، موفور الصحة والسعادة، وللشعب العماني الشقيق مزيداً من التطور والنماء.

جرى خلال المقابلة استعراض العلاقات الأخوية بين البلدين، وسبل تنميتها وتعزيزها.

حضر المقابلة معالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية.;
