Amir reviews relations with Oman Minister

Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with the Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, yesterday at Al Bahr Palace.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister conveyed greetings of H M Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman to H H the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness and the Qatari people further progress and prosperity.

For his part, H H the Amir entrusted the Minister to convey his greetings to H M Sultan Qaboos bin Said, wishing him good health and well-being and the brotherly Omani people more progress and prosperity.

The meeting reviewed the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways of boosting them as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.

استقبل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى في قصر البحر مساء أمس معالي السيد يوسف بن علوي بن عبدالله الوزير المسؤول عن الشؤون الخارجية بسلطنة عمان الشقيقة، بمناسبة زيارته للبلاد. وفي بداية المقابلة، نقل معالي الوزير تحيات صاحب الجلالة السلطان قابوس بن سعيد سلطان عمان إلى أخيه سمو أمير البلاد المفدى، وتمنياته لسموه بدوام الصحة والسعادة، وللشعب القطري مزيداً من التقدم والازدهار.

من جانبه، حمّل سمو أمير البلاد المفدى معالي الوزير تحياته لأخيه السلطان قابوس بن سعيد، وتمنياته لجلالته بموفور الصحة والعافية، وللشعب العماني الشقيق بدوام التقدم والرخاء. وجرى خلال المقابلة استعراض العلاقات الأخوية الوطيدة بين البلدين، وسبل دعمها وتطويرها، إضافة إلى عدد من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك.;
