Jossor welcomes 47 nationals to launch careers at Qatar Airways

DOHA: Qatar Airways welcomed 47 Qatari graduates to join the Al Darb Qatarisation programme by hosting a Jossor induction event on September 12 – 13 at the Oryx Rotana Hotel.

The Jossor event is aimed at supporting new graduates to help them adapt and navigate easily through the organisation and introduce them to the world of aviation, as they settle into the various departments of the national carrier of the State of Qatar.

During the induction event, nationals were briefed about the various departments and subsidiaries within the Qatar Airways Group. Additionally, they had the opportunity to interact with various heads of departments and ask them questions. The developees were then taken to QR Cargo’s headquarters, where they had a unique opportunity to take a closer look at intricate process of how cargo is handled, enabling the smooth and successful operation of the group’s cargo business.

Qatar Airways Senior Vice President Human Resources, Nabeela Fakhri, said: “We are proud to once again have Qatari nationals join Qatar Airways. It is our pleasure and pride to introduce fresh graduates of different majors to the aviation industry. Al Darb is an Arabic term which means ‘The Pathway’ and, through this programme, we aim to be the pathway that helps nationals to navigate through different departments to fulfill their ambitions and steer them towards becoming leaders of the national airline. This is part of our commitment to supporting the Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to increase the number of Qataris in the workforce while contributing to the country’s development.

“Through the Al Darb Programme, graduate developees are given significant projects, enhancing their professional experience and learning, which will support their future positions at the airline. This programme is a wonderful example of the national airline’s continuous support for the next generation of leaders in the country, and enables graduates to explore the many opportunities available in Qatar Airways,” said Fakhri.

The Al Darb Qatarisation Programme allows developees to be aware of the company’s policies, regulations, work environment and expectations while also gaining exposure to the many facets of the aviation industry. Since the inauguration of Al Darb programme, the airline has equipped them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen field in the airline.

رحّبت الخطوط الجوية القطرية بـ 47 خريجاً متدرباً في برنامج «الدرب» للتقطير، خلال حفل تعريفي خاص نظّمه برنامج «جسور» في 12 و13 سبتمبر بفندق «أوريكس روتانا». وهدف الحفل إلى دعم الخريجين الجدد، ومساعدتهم على التأقلم على بيئة العمل، وتعريفهم بقطاع الطيران، من خلال عملهم ضمن مختلف الأقسام في الناقلة الوطنية.

خلال الحفل التعريفي، حظي الخريجون بالفرصة للتعرّف على مختلف الأقسام والشركات الفرعية في مجموعة الخطوط الجوية القطرية، كما تمكّنوا من التواصل والتفاعل مع رؤساء مختلف الأقسام، وتوجيه العديد من الأسئلة لهم، بالإضافة إلى تنظيم زيارة لهم إلى مقر عمليات «القطرية للشحن الجوي»، وتمكينهم من إلقاء نظرة عن قرب على العمليات المعقّدة لإنجاز نقل البضائع بشكل سلس وناجح.

وقالت السيدة نبيلة فخري، نائب أول الرئيس التنفيذي للموارد البشرية في الخطوط الجوية القطرية: «نفتخر مرة أخرى بالترحيب بمجموعة من الخريجين من القطريين وأبناء القطريات في الخطوط الجوية القطرية، ويسعدنا تعريفهم بمختلف الأقسام والاختصاصات في قطاع الطيران.

ومن خلال برنامج (الدرب) للتقطير، نهدف إلى أن نكون الطريق التي يتخذها الخريجون لكي يكتشفوا ميولهم المهنية ويحققوا طموحاتهم ويصبحوا قادة الناقلة الوطنية لدولة قطر في المستقبل، وذلك ضمن التزامنا بتحقيق رؤية قطر الوطنية 2030، التي تهدف إلى زيادة عدد الموظفين القطريين في مختلف القطاعات، والمساهمة في تطور الدولة».

وأضافت السيدة نبيلة فخري: «ينجز الخريجون المتدربون مجموعة من المشاريع المهمة ضمن برنامج (الدرب) للتقطير، لتعزيز خبراتهم المهنية، ودعم مسيرتهم المستقبلية في الخطوط الجوية القطرية.

وهذا البرنامج ما هو إلا مثال حي على دعم الخطوط الجوية القطرية المتواصل لقادة المستقبل، وحرصها على تمكينهم من استكشاف العديد من الفرص المتاحة لهم في الناقلة الوطنية لدولة قطر».

فرصة

ويتيح برنامج «الدرب» للتقطير الفرصة أمام المتدربين للتعرّف على السياسات والقوانين وبيئة العمل في الخطوط الجوية القطرية، فيما يشغلون وظائف متنوعة في مختلف الأقسام.

ومنذ إطلاق برنامج «الدرب» للتقطير، زوّدت الناقلة الوطنية لدولة قطر الخريجين المنضمين إلى البرنامج بالمعرفة والمهارات اللازمة؛ لكي يكون النجاح حليفهم في المجالات التي يفضّلونها.;
