Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Celebrates Graduation of 82 Holy Quran Female Memorizers

Doha: Under the patronage of HE Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanem, the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, represented in the women’s activity department at the Department of Religious Call and Guidance, celebrated the graduation of 82 female memorizers of the Holy Quran at the memorization centers in the 16th Quranic session for the 9th batch of those who memorized the whole Quran for the year (2022/2023), during the annual ceremony to honor distinguished memorizers, as 70 percent of those who completed memorizing the whole Quran achieved excellent grade.

At the outset of the ceremony, Assistant Director of the Department of Religious Call and Guidance Lolwah Al Ghorab delivered a speech on behalf of HE the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs that included thanks and appreciation to the honorable sisters for their efforts in teaching Holy Quran for the coming generations and for organizing religious and social activities that maintains the individual and the entity of society, which is the family, and raise them in a good upbringing so that they can later maintain families and children and raise them in the right way.

At the end of the speech, HE the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs wished to see that celebrations occurs every year and that the number of female memorizers of the Holy Quran may increase.
During the celebration, a video presentation was displayed explaining the importance of memorizing the Holy Quran and acting on it.

الدوحة: احتفت وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، ممثلة بقسم النشاط النسائي التابع لإدارة الدعوة والإرشاد الديني، بتخريج 82 خاتمة متقنة لكتاب الله بمراكز التحفيظ في الدورة القرآنية السادسة عشرة للدفعة التاسعة من الخاتمات خلال العام (2022 / 2023)، وذلك خلال الحفل السنوي لتكريم الخاتمات المتميزات، تحت رعاية سعادة السيد غانم بن شاهين الغانم وزير الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، حيث حصلت 70% من الخاتمات المكرمات على تقدير ممتاز.

وفي بداية الحفل، ألقت السيدة لولوة الغراب مساعد مدير إدارة الدعوة والإرشاد الديني كلمة نيابة عن سعادة وزير الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، تضمنت شكر وتقدير الأخوات الفاضلات على جهودهن المبذولة في تعلم وتعليم القرآن الكريم للأجيال القادمة، ولقيامهن بتنظيم الأنشطة الدينية والاجتماعية التي تحافظ على الفرد وكيان المجتمع وهي الأسرة، وتنشئتها النشأة الصالحة، لتتمكن لاحقا من المحافظة على الأسر والأبناء وتربيتهم التربية الصحيحة.

وأعرب وزير الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية، في ختام كلمته، عن أمله أن يرى هذا الاحتفال يتكرر في كل عام، وتزداد أعداد الحافظات لكتاب الله، “واللاتي سيكن فاعلات في بناء الأسرة والمجتمع وتربية أبنائهن التربية الدينية الصحيحة”.

وتم خلال الحفل بث عرض مرئي يوضح أهمية حفظ كتاب الله والعمل به.
