Amir issues law on Unified Economic Register
صاحب السمو يصدر قانونا بشأن السجل الاقتصادي الموحد
DOHA: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued Law No. 14 of 2018 on the Unified Economic Register.
The Law defines the Unified Economic Register as a record in which economic enterprises and self-employed individuals are registered, and the economic establishment as an individual enterprise or company or entity engaged in any area of the economic sector.
Under the provisions of the law, a Unified Economic Register shall be established within the Ministry of Economy and Commerce in which the following are registered: Qatari economic establishments and their branches and branches of non-Qatari establishments operating in the country; those licensed to practice self-employment.
A number called “Unified Economic Number” shall be issued for any person registered in the Unified Economic Register and shall be used in all transactions and papers relating to his activity.
The competent department of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce shall determine the mechanism for regulating the Unified Economic Register and the procedures for registration and marking therein. The law is effective and is to be published in the official gazette.
أصدر حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى اليوم، القانون رقم (14) لسنة 2018 بشأن السجل الاقتصادي الموحد.
وقد عرّف القانون السجل الاقتصادي الموحد بأنه السجل الذي تُقيّد فيه المنشآت الاقتصادية وأصحاب المهن الحــرة، كما عرّف المنشأة الاقتصادية بأنها منشأة فردية أو شركة أو كيان يمارس نشاطه في أي من مجالات القطاع الاقتصادي.
وبموجب أحكام القانون يُنشأ بوزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة سجل اقتصادي موحد يُقيّد فيه كل من :
1. المنشآت الاقتصادية القطرية وفروعها، وفروع المنشآت غير القطرية التي تزاول أعمالها في الدولة.
2. المرخص لهم بممارسة المهن الحرة.
ويصدر لكل من يُقيّد بالسجل الاقتصادي الموحد رقم يُسمّى “الرقم الاقتصادي الموحد” ، يستخدمه في جميع تعاملاته والأوراق المتعلقة بنشاطـه.
وتُحدد الإدارة المختصة بوزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة آلية تنظيم السجل الاقتصادي الموحد وإجراءات القيد والتأشير فيه.
وقَضى القانون بتنفيذه، وأن يُنشـر في الجريدة الرسمية.;
