QHCP speeds up medical license issuing process
تخفيض الإطار الزمني للمنح وتجديد ترخيص مزاولة المهنة للممارسين الصحيين
Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP) has announced a reduction in the time required to issue medical licences.
Licences will now be granted following all stages within a period that doesn’t exceed one month from the date of submission, as the approved timeframe to complete evaluation requests has been reduced to 15 working days instead of 25, licensing requests to 10 working days instead of 20, and renewal requests to seven working days instead of 15.
The initiative is expected to help achieve a number of strategic objectives for QCHP and will reflect positively on healthcare practitioners, stakeholders and encourage investment in the health sector in addition to providing high-quality, safe healthcare services, according to a statement.
Also, within the next few months, QCHP will announce a new licensing process called ‘Fast Track’, which will take seven working days in case of a complete application.
Dr Samar Aboulsoud, acting CEO of QCHP, said: “QCHP performs periodic reviews and audits to ensure that all regulations and policies are being implemented accurately and efficiently to ensure the quality of services provided in addition to enhance the level of performance and quality in accordance with internationally approved standards.”

QCHP was established to regulate healthcare practitioners who wish to work in Qatar with the objective of upgrading levels of targeted healthcare services to maintain the health quality of residents in the country.
أعلن المجلس القطري للتخصصات الصحية التابع لوزارة الصحة العامة عن تخفيض الإطار الزمني المعتمد لإصدار وتجديد تراخيص مزاولة المهنة الخاصة بالممارسين الصحيين، وذلك فى إطار تحقيق الأهداف الاستراتيجية للمجلس والتي تنعكس ايجابياً على كلاً من الممارسين وأصحاب المنشآت الصحية.
يأتى ذلك فى ظل حرص المجلس القطرى للتخصصات الصحية على تشجيع الاستثمار في المجال الصحي مع ضمان توافر خدمات صحية آمنة وذات كفاءة عالية وتبعاً لمؤشرات الأداء ومعايير الجودة المتبعة بالمجلس، وبشكل خاص تقديم الخدمة بالسرعة والجودة المطلوبة.
وقالت الدكتورة سمر أبو السعود الرئيس التنفيذي بالوكالة للمجلس القطري للتخصصات الصحية : ” يقوم المجلس بأعمال المراجعة والتدقيق بشكل دوري للتأكد من تطبيق الأنظمة واللوائح المنصوص عليها وذلك لضمان حسن سير العمل والارتقاء بموظفيه إلى مستوى متميز أداءاً وجودة طبقا للمعايير المعتمدة عالمياً”.
وتساهم هذه الجهود والمبادرات فى تخفيض الإطار الزمني لمنح الترخيص الطبي مروراً بجميع المراحل خلال مدة لا تتجاوز الشهر من تاريخ التقديم حيث سيكون الإطار الزمني المعتمد لإستكمال طلبات التقييم 15 يوم عمل بدلاً من 25 يوم عمل ، بالإضافة إلى إستكمال طلبات منح الترخيص الدائم خلال 10 أيام عمل بدلاً من 20 يوم عمل، وكذلك تقليل الإطار الزمني لإستكمال طلبات تجديد الترخيص لـ
7 أيام عوضاً بدلاً من 15 يوم عمل.
كما سيعلن المجلس القطرى للتخصصات الصحية خلال الشهور القليلة المقبلة عن عملية منح الترخيص من خلال خدمة المسار السريع (Fast Track) والتى تستغرق 7 أيام عمل في حال التقدم بطلب متكامل ومستوفى جميع الشروط.
