Qatar Airways enhances on-board dining menu

Qatar Airways has revealed a series of enhancements to its Economy Class on-board menus, “designed to elevate customers’ experience when they travel with the award-winning airline”.
The new enhancements, which will become available in a phased introduction across the airline’s network with effect from July 1, include an increase of 25% in content for all Economy Class hot meals served on board, the Doha-based carrier said in a statement.
Newly-designed and larger casserole dishes have also been created and coupled with covers depicting brightly coloured artwork.
Other additions include revamped Economy Class in-flight menus featuring new delicious meals, which will be offered on medium and longer-haul routes, the statement notes.
Qatar Airways Group chief executive Akbar al-Baker said, “Qatar Airways is delighted to launch the latest on-board dining enhancements that will undoubtedly offer our esteemed passengers an even higher level of service and luxury.
“We have carefully crafted new dishes through collaborating with our global network of caterers to provide our customers with an authentic and indulgent experience in the skies.
“Crafted with detail and quality, our new concepts will offer our passengers the highest of standards and ensure their journeys with us are second to none.”
Recently, Qatar’s national carrier launched a new on-board dining experience for its premium customers, which started on European routes from May 1.
The new concepts include newly-designed tableware, in-flight dining menus, chinaware and cutlery that were specially created to meet customers’ high expectations for fine dining in the sky.
The enhanced signature dishes and in-flight menus also feature regional influences and locally sourced produce based on route destinations and in alignment with the four seasons.
Qatar Airways operates a fleet of more than 200 aircraft to a network of more than 150 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America.
The airline plans a host of new destination launches this year, including Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Langkawi, Malaysia and Da Nang, Vietnam.

وبدأت الناقلة في تقديم قائمة الطعام الجديدة بشكل تدريجي على متن رحلاتها ابتداءً من مطلع يوليو الحالي، وتحتوي القائمة الجديدة على زيادة 25 % في حجم الأطباق الساخنة التي تقدم على الدرجة السياحية. وسوف يتم تقديم الوجبات في أطباق جديدة مزينة بأعمال فنية ملونة، كما ستقوم الناقلة أيضاً بتقديم قائمة طعام جديدة في متن رحلاتها المتوسطة وطويلة المدى على الدرجة السياحية.
تجربة أرقى
وقال سعادة السيد أكبر الباكر، الرئيس التنفيذي للناقلة: «يسعدنا في الخطوط الجوية القطرية إطلاق آخر التحديثات على قائمة الطعام، والتي ستوفر -بلا شك- تجربة سفر أرقى، وخدمات أفضل لجميع مسافرينا. لقد قمنا بحرص بتطوير قوائم طعام جديدة، بالتعاون مع شركائنا حول العالم، لتعزيز تجربة السفر على متن رحلاتنا».
خلال الشهر الماضي، أطلقت الناقلة الوطنية لدولة قطر قائمة الطعام الجديدة لمسافري الدرجة الأولى ودرجة رجال الأعمال، ابتداءً من مطلع الشهر الحالي على متن رحلاتها إلى أوروبا. وشملت التحديثات الجديدة، قائمة طعام جديدة، وأطقم مائدة مصممة خصيصاً للمسافرين الذين يبحثون عن تجربة الطعام الراقي في السماء. وستوفر القائمة الجديدة أطباقاً مستوحاة من أطباق الوجهات والفصول الأربعة.;
