‘Competitive fares’ for taxi users as Karwa waives fees

Mowasalat has said its decision to waive booking and technology service charges for Karwa taxis “is based on market needs and to provide competitive fares to taxi users”.

The waiver came into effect on Sunday and is a promotion from the company, according to Mowasalat.

“Booking charges and technology service charges through the taxi unified call centre and Karwa App are waived from July 15, 2018,” the company said in a press statement.

“Karwa taxi customers can book taxis round the clock through the Karwa App and by calling the call centre from the comfort of their location — be it the home, a shopping mall, an entertainment zone or the workplace,” the statement notes, stressing that there will be no waiting time and delay in hailing taxis on the road, even under severe weather conditions.

“The company, as a promotion, has waived the booking and technology service charges and the final metered fare will be without these two cost elements,” Mowasalat adds.

The Karwa taxi application includes a facility for booking a taxi or limousine, and “operates through the whole eco-system” under the unified call centre.

In addition, Mowasalat has carried out taxi deployment improvements in terms of efficiency, policies and process to ultimately achieve “customer satisfaction”, whereby taxi users can book and track their trip through the implemented GPS tracking system.

Besides, the metered rates are charged in accordance with the published tariff and there is no preferential price or search price system.

The customer receipt will show the total fare with the breakup elements.

Mowasalat has said the company will continue to focus on developing the application through updates and improvements to extend its services in order to meet the needs of the transportation sector in Qatar.

“Our taxis are luxury sedans complying with unified taxi standards as stipulated by the regulating authority, and are replaced in a five-year period on an average,” the statement pointed out.

“Our drivers are trained with internationally accredited training programmes and practical demonstration through safety equipment and simulator to have a feel of driving on Qatar roads. Our driver employees are recruited after fulfilling basic criteria pertaining to driving licence, English proficiency and literacy. In addition, they go through training to get familiarisation with Qatar’s roads, traditions and customs.”

قررت شركة مواصلات خفض أجرة حجز التاكسي من خلال تطبيق كروة، حيث قررت إلغاء رسوم الحجز ورسوم الخدمات التقنية من أجرة سيارات التاكسي عند الحجز من خلال «تطبيق كروة»، أو «مركز الاتصال الموحد»، بدءاً من يوم أمس.

جاء ذلك من منطلق حرص الشركة على راحة العملاء، ولتيسير عملية الوصول إلى خدمات كروة، سواء من المنزل أو العمل، أو مراكز التسوق، ومختلف الأماكن والمناطق في الدولة. ولتجنيب العملاء عملية الانتظار على الطرق لوقت طويل في درجات الحرارة المرتفعة، يعمل «تطبيق كروة» للهواتف الذكية و»مركز الاتصال الموحد» على مدار الساعة لحجز سيارات «تاكسي كروة».

وكانت شركة مواصلات «كروة» قد أطلقت، أمس، حملة ترويجية بإلغاء «رسوم الحجز ورسوم الخدمات التقنية» لتخفيض أجرة سيارات تاكسي كروة، وقد اتخذت شركة مواصلات «كروة» هذا القرار بناءً على دراسة حاجة السوق، ولتقديم سعر تنافسي إلى العملاء.

وكما هو معلوم للجميع، يضم «تطبيق كروة» خدمات حجز التاكسي والليموزين، ويعمل من خلال عملية تشغيل النظام بأكمله تحت مفهوم مركز الاتصالات الموحد، مع العديد من التعديلات والتحسينات الأساسية لعمليات تشغيل التاكسي من حيث الكفاءة والسياسات والإجراءات، للحصول في النهاية على «رضاء العملاء»، حيث يمكن للمستخدمين الحجز ومراقبة رحلاتهم من خلال نظام التتبع الخاص بنظام الخرائط والتابع لتطبيق كروة.

تحديد

فضلاً عن ذلك، يتم تحديد الأجرة وفقاً لقراءة العداد وحسب التعرفة المعلنة بدون أي رسوم إضافية قد تُفرض حسب موقع أو وقت الحجز، وسيحصل الراكب على إيصال يوضح تفاصيل الأجرة في نهاية كل رحلة.

وستستمر «مواصلات» في التركيز على تطوير «تطبيق كروة»، من خلال التحديث والتطوير، لتوسيع نطاق خدماتها، من أجل تلبية احتياجات صناعة المواصلات في دولة قطر. وتتميز سيارات «تاكسي كروة» بمطابقتها لمعايير سيارات الأجرة العالمية الموضوعة من قبل الجهات التنظيمية، حيث يتم استبدال هذه السيارات كل 5 سنوات في المتوسط.

ومن جهة أخرى يتم إخضاع سائقي سيارة «تاكسي كروة» لتدريبات قيادة معتمدة دولياً باستخدام أجهزة محاكاة قيادة متطورة مصنوعة خصيصاً ومصممة حسب طرق مدينة الدوحة.;
