Attack on Afghanistan checkposts condemned

Qatar has strongly condemned the attack on security checkpoints and a military base in Kunduz province in Afghanistan, causing deaths and injuries. In a statement yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar’s firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, irrespective of their motives and reasons, and reaffirmed its solidarity with the Afghan government in all measures taken to maintain security and stability of the country. The statement expressed Qatar’s condolences to the victims’ families, the government and the people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured speedy recovery.

أعربت دولة قطر عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين للهجوم الذي استهدف نقاط تفتيش أمنية وقاعدة عسكرية في إقليم قندوز بأفغانستان وأدى إلى سقوط قتلى وجرحى.

وجددت وزارة الخارجية، في بيان اليوم، موقف دولة قطر الثابت من رفض العنف والإرهاب مهما كانت الدوافع والأسباب، وأكدت تضامنها التام مع الحكومة الأفغانية في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لحفظ الأمن والاستقرار.

وعبر البيان عن تعازي دولة قطر لذوي الضحايا ولحكومة وشعب أفغانستان وتمنياتها للجرحى بالشفاء العاجل.
