Dreama’s ‘Great Steps’ campaign promotes ethical behaviours

DOHA: Dreama (The Orphan Care Center) concluded a month-long campaign under the title ‘Great Steps’ aimed to promote ethical behaviours, instilling a spirit of community solidarity and integrating orphans into society.

The campaign, which targeted government institutions, public and private bodies, students and various media outlets, included a range of educational, psychological and social values that the Centre seeks to promote among young people to form strong personalities and communities.

The center has been keen to raise awareness messages on social media outlets and through lectures and workshops attended by students from various educational institutions such as the community college, the Academic Bridge Program, and Qatar University in addition to the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development and the centers affiliated under its umbrella.

Head of the implementation and follow-up unit at Dreama, Abdulla Al Fudhala stressed the importance of this campaign and its important role in promoting positive values, and urged young people and all members of the family to interact positively and to instil a spirit of cooperation and fraternity between each other.

This campaign is consistent with the role of Dreama in caring for orphans and integrating them into society, according to the values that govern the work of the Center: responsibility, privacy, equality, and participation.

نظّم مركز رعاية الأيتام (دريمة)، ورشاً توعوية لحملة «خطوات عظيمة»، والتي انطلقت في بداية شهر سبتمبر الماضي لطرح الرسائل التوعوية، سواء على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي أو من خلال المحاضرات والورش التوعوية لطالبات وطلاب كلية المجتمع، والجسر الأكاديمي، وجامعة قطر، بالإضافة إلى مؤسسة العمل الاجتماعي، والمراكز المنضوية تحت العمل الاجتماعي: «إحسان»، و»نماء»، و»وفاق»، و»الشفلح»، و»أمان»، و«بست بديز».

وتهدف هذه الحملة في مجملها إلى تعزيز السلوكيات الأخلاقية، وغرس روح التكافل المجتمعي، ودمج الأيتام في المجتمع. وتضم هذه الحملة مجموعة من القيم التربوية والنفسية والاجتماعية التي يسعى المركز جاهداً إلى تعزيزها لدى الشباب، لبناء شخصيات فاعلة ومجتمعات راسخة.

وتحث الحملة الشباب وجميع أفراد الأسرة على التفاعل الإيجابي، حيث تبث روح التعاون والتآخي في ما بينهم، من خلال بعض العبارات التحفيزية والإيجابية والنصائح الاجتماعية المهمة والمؤثرة.

من جهته، أكد السيد عبدالله الفضالة -رئيس وحدة التنفيذ والمتابعة بمكتب التوعية المجتمعية بـ «دريمة»- على أهمية هذه الحملة، ودورها الكبير في تعزيز القيم الإيجابية.;
