Qatar welcomes first elections in Iraq after defeating terrorism
قطر ترحب بإجراء أول انتخابات برلمانية بالعراق بعد دحر الإرهاب
Doha: The State of Qatar welcomed Saturday the Republic of Iraq’s holding of the first parliamentary elections after defeating terrorist organizations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement today that the State of Qatar fully supports the democratic experiment in Iraq and believes that such elections would promote reconciliation, stability and civil peace, in addition to consolidating the foundations of the state institutions in Iraq and upholding the rule of law.
The statement reiterated Qatar’s full support of all efforts aiming to ensure Iraq’s unity and sovereignty, and aiming to enhance security and stability by having all political parties and components of Iraqi society joining forces.
The statement expressed the State of Qatar aspiration that the election results will help realize the ambitions of the people of Iraq of further progress and prosperity. (QNA)
رحبت دولة قطر بتنظيم أول انتخابات برلمانية في جمهورية العراق الشقيق بعد دحر التنظيمات الإرهابية.
وعبرت وزارة الخارجية في بيان اليوم، عن دعم دولة قطر التام للتجربة الديمقراطية العراقية، ورأت أن من شأن هذه الانتخابات تعزيز المصالحة والاستقرار والسلم الأهلي وترسيخ دعائم دولة المؤسسات في جمهورية العراق الشقيق وتكريس حكم القانون فيها.
وجدد البيان دعم دولة قطر التام لكافة الجهود الرامية إلى ضمان وحدة العراق وسيادته وتعزيز أمنه واستقراره بتضافر جهود كل الأطراف السياسية ومكونات المجتمع العراقي.
وأعرب البيان عن تطلع دولة قطر لأن تسهم نتائج هذه الانتخابات في تحقيق طموحات وتطلعات شعب العراق الشقيق في المزيد من التقدم والازدهار.
