Health Minister meets WHO official in Geneva

Minister of Public Health H E Dr Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari met yesterday with the Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, on the sidelines of her participation in the meetings of the World Health Assembly, which concludes today in Geneva.

During the meeting, they discussed enhancing cooperation between the Ministry of Public Health and the World Health Organisation, as well as joint health programmes and projects between the Ministry and the Organisation.

اجتمعت سعادة الدكتورة حنان محمد الكواري، وزير الصحة العامة مع الدكتور تيدروس أدهانوم غيبريسوس مدير عام منظمة الصحة العالمية، وذلك على هامش مشاركتها في اجتماعات جمعية الصحية العالمية التي تختتم اليوم في جنيف.

وجرى خلال الاجتماع بحث تعزيز التعاون بين وزارة الصحة العامة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية في مختلف المجالات الصحية، إضافة إلى البرامج والمشروعات الصحية المشتركة بين الوزارة والمنظمة.
