Al Jazeera has been named one of the Most Viewed Media Companies for the second year in a row by Tubular Labs, a company that tracks all video content cross-platform across all devices globally.

Al Jazeera was ranked 30th out of 10mn content creators and over 40,000 media and entertainment publishers globally tracked in 2017, according to a press statement issued by Al Jazeera Media Network.

Dima Khatib, managing drector of AJ+, received the award on behalf of Al Jazeera Media Network and reiterated the role of every team member in the network’s continuous success, saying: “I am proud of every member of the Al Jazeera family, who are the real winners of this award. Al Jazeera has succeeded in bringing its spirit, well-known ethical journalism and values to the digital arena and it has resonated clearly with audiences throughout the world.”

Tubular Labs annually announces its classification of digital entities, platforms and influencers from across the world, categorised according to geography, category and genre.

Tubular’s findings are considered a key and reliable reference for research companies specialised in media and digital marketing across the world.

صُنفت الجزيرة -للعام الثاني على التوالي- ضمن أكثر المؤسسات الإعلامية مشاهدة وتأثيراً من قبل مؤسسة «توبولار لابس» المتخصصة في قياس ورصد محتوى الفيديو على المنصات الرقمية والأجهزة. وحلت قناة AJ+ الرقمية في المركز 30 من بين 10 ملايين منتِج محتوى، وأكثر من 40 ألف مؤسسة إعلامية وترفيهية شملها الرصد في 2017.

وأكدت ديمة الخطيب مديرة AJ+ أثناء تسلم الجائزة، أهمية دور كل أعضاء فريق العمل في هذا النجاح المتواصل للشبكة، وقالت: «أنا فخورة بكل عضو في أسرة الجزيرة، فهم الفائزون الفعليون بهذه الجائزة، لقد نجحت الجزيرة في نقل روحها وقيمها المهنية المعروفة إلى الميدان التقني، واستطاعت إيصال صوتها لجمهور كبير في كل أنحاء العالم».

وتُصدر مؤسسة توبولار قائمة سنوية بالمؤسسات والقنوات المؤثرة رقمياً في العالم. ويتم ترتيب القائمة وفق معايير متعددة، من بينها نوع وفئة المحتوى المنتَج والحيز الجغرافي، وتعتبر توبولار مصدراً موثوقاً للباحثين والمؤسسات المتخصصة في مجال الإعلام والتسويق.;
