Temporary Road Diversion on Northbound Orbital Road North Area – Ras Laffan
تحويل مروري مؤقت بالطريق المداري في اتجاه الشمال وراس لفان
Due to the works related to the completion of the New Orbital Highway & Truck Route Project, The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ will temporarily close the northbound lanes on the Orbital Road. The closure will cover a distance of 10 kilometers, starting from the Orbital Road crossing over Al Shamal Road to Ras Laffan Road.
The traffic change is designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, and will continue for 5 days starting Thursday midnight 26 April 2018, and ends on Tuesday 1 May 2018.
During the diversion, motorists travelling via northbound Orbital Road can use Al Mazrooah Road in place of the Orbital Road through Al Khor Interchange on Al Shamal Road, then continue on the Al Khor Link Road, then turn left at the next roundabout to join the Ras Laffan Road, as illustrated on the map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the changes on the road. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, which remains at 80 kph for all sections of the Orbital Road and the adjacent roads, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
بهدف استكمال أعمال مشروع الطريق المداري وطريق الشاحنات، تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن إغلاق الطريق المداري بشكل مؤقت أمام الحركة المرورية القادمة من الجنوب في اتجاه الشمال وراس لفان لمسافة 10 كيلومتر تمتد من الطريق المداري مرورا بطريق الشمال وصولا لطريق راس لفان.
يبدأ التحويل المروري بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور اعتبارا من منتصف ليل الخميس 26 إبريل 2018 وحتى الثلاثاء 1 مايو 2018 ويستمر لمدة 5 أيام.
وخلال فترة الإغلاق، يستطيع القادمون من الطريق المداري في اتجاه طريق راس لفان استخدام طريق المزروعة بدلا من الطريق المداري ثم مواصلة السير عبر تقاطع الخور بطريق الشمال وصولا لطريق الخور الرابط ثم الانعطاف يسارا عند الدوار التالي، وفقا للخريطة المرفقة.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة عند 80 كيلومتر في الساعة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
