NBK and Mercedes-Benz partners with VCU arts Qatar to present “Pendulum” – a
fashion showcase featuring designs from its talented students
Doha, Qatar –Nasser Bin Khaled and Mercedes-Benz are pleased to announce their
partnership with Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar (VCUarts
Qatar) in its 19th Annual Fashion Show "Pendulum". The fashion show will take place at
The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa on May 3 evening.
The partnership of NBK and Mercedes-Benz is part of their social corporate
responsibility ti support education, culture and arts, and this partnership with VCU Qatar
is part of wide range of partnerships with organizations in Qatar.

This unique show, featuring the collections of 25 sophomore, junior, and senior fashion
students from VCUarts Qatar, as well as four senior students from the University’s
Richmond campus, will take place on May 3, from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Pendulum will showcase the individual vision, creativity, and styles of VCUarts Qatar’s
students. The collections on show will present an eclectic mix of day to evening looks
that reflect the singular aesthetic of each student and their individual concepts. More
than 100 garments, ranging from evening wear to children’s wear will be shown at
“Pendulum”.
Nasser Bin Khaled and Mercedes-Benz, along with other companies will present awards
to outstanding university and departmental design and academic achievements.
During the show, NBK and Mercedes-Benz will display two of their iconic cars that
reflects the innovation of design of the brand, the luxury S Class and the S cabriolet.

لتقديم عرض الازياء "بندلوم" من تصميم الطلاب

كومنولث قطر – كلية الفنون لتقديم عرض الأزياء السنوي التاسع عشر تحت عنوان "بندلوم".
وسيقام العرض في فندق ويستن مساء 3 مايو المقبل.
وتأتي هذه الشراكة لشركة ناصر بن خالد ومرسيدس-بنز ضمن برامج المسؤولية الاجتماعية

وسيضم معرض "بندلوم" تصاميم لمجموعة من 25 طالب أزياء من جامعة فيرجينيا كومنولث
قطر، واربعة طلاب من جامعة ريتشموند وذلك في يوم 3 مايو. يقدم معرض "بندلوم" الرؤية
الإبداعبة والفريدة لطلاب الجامعة حيث تضم المجموعة تشكيلة غنية من أزياء السهرات التي
تتحدث عن شخصية كل مصمم ونهجه الفريد. وتحتوي المجموعة على أكثر من 100 قطعة تتنوع
بين ثياب السهرات وصولاً إلى ثياب الأطفال.
بدورها ستقدم شركة ناصر بن خالد ومرسيدس-بنز وغيرها من الشركات المساهمة عدداً من
الجوائز للجامعة والطلاب على إنجازاتها العريقة في هذا المجال. وستعرض الشركتان خلال
