*Amir attends Iftar banquet at Dasman Palace
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met on Sunday at Dasman Palace with the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah.
At the outset of the meeting, the Amir exchanged Ramadan greetings with the Kuwaiti Amir. The two leaders also reviewed the strong fraternal bonds and deep ties that unite the two countries and the two brotherly peoples and the means to support and promote these ties.
The meeting also dealt with a host of topics of mutual interest in addition to regional and international developments.
His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani, Personal Representative of the Amir, and members of the delegation accompanying His Highness the Amir attended the meeting.
On the Kuwaiti side, the meeting was attended by the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmed al -Jaber al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim, Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber al- Mubarak al-Hamad al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmed, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Khaled al-Jarrah al-Sabah and a number of Kuwaiti Sheikhs and senior officials.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al -Thani also attended the Iftar banquet hosted by the Amir of Kuwait at Dasman Palace.
On the Kuwaiti side, the banquet was attended by the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, the Speaker of the National Assembly Marzouq al-Ghanim, Deputy Head of the National Guard Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah , Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak al-Hamad al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmad, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled al-Jarrah al-Sabah, as well as a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
Earlier upon arrival at Kuwait International Airport for a brotherly visit to Kuwait, His Highness the Amir was welcomed by the Amir of Kuwait.
Also receiving the Amir were Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim, Deputy Chief of the Kuwait National Guard Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak al-Hamad al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah al-Ahmed, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Khaled al-Hamad al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Khaled al-Jarrah al-Sabah, a number of Kuwaiti Sheikhs and ministers, Qatar’s ambassador to Kuwait Bandar bin Mohamed al-Attiyah, Kuwait’s ambassador to Qatar Hafeez Mohamed al-Ajmi and members of the Qatari embassy.
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani left Kuwait on Sunday evening after his brotherly visit to Kuwait.
His Highness the Amir and the delegation accompanying him were seen off upon departure at Kuwait International Airport by Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.
Also seeing the Amir off were Kuwait’s National Assembly Speaker, Prime Minister, First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
التقى حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، أخاه صاحب السمو الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح أمير دولة الكويت الشقيقة، بقصر دسمان مساء أمس. وفي بداية اللقاء، تبادل سمو الأمير وسمو أمير دولة الكويت، التهاني بمناسبة شهر رمضان المبارك والأحاديث الودية، بالإضافة إلى استعراض العلاقات الأخوية الوطيدة والروابط العميقة التي تجمع البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين وأوجه دعمها وتعزيزها.
تناول اللقاء أيضاً عدداً من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، والتطورات الراهنة على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية.
حضر اللقاء سمو الشيخ جاسم بن حمد آل ثاني الممثل الشخصي للأمير، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الشيوخ والوزراء أعضاء الوفد المرافق لسمو الأمير.
وحضره من الجانب الكويتي، سمو الشيخ نواف الأحمد الجابر الصباح ولي العهد، ومعالي السيد مرزوق علي الغانم رئيس مجلس الأمة، ومعالي الشيخ مشعل الأحمد الجابر الصباح نائب رئيس الحرس الوطني، وسمو الشيخ جابر المبارك الحمد الصباح رئيس مجلس الوزراء، ومعالي الشيخ ناصر صباح الأحمد الصباح النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الدفاع، ومعالي الشيخ صباح الخالد الحمد الصباح نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، ومعالي الشيخ خالد الجراح الصباح نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الشيوخ وكبار المسؤولين.
كان صاحب السمو قد وصل إلى مدينة الكويت مساء أمس، في زيارة أخوية لدولة الكويت الشقيقة.
وكان في استقبال سموه والوفد المرافق بمطار الكويت الدولي، أخوه صاحب السمو الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح أمير دولة الكويت.
كما كان في الاستقبال سمو الشيخ نواف الأحمد الجابر الصباح ولي العهد، ومعالي السيد مرزوق علي الغانم رئيس مجلس الأمة، ومعالي الشيخ مشعل الأحمد الجابر الصباح نائب رئيس الحرس الوطني، وسمو الشيخ جابر المبارك الحمد الصباح رئيس مجلس الوزراء، ومعالي الشيخ ناصر صباح الأحمد النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الدفاع، ومعالي الشيخ صباح الخالد الحمد الصباح نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، ومعالي الشيخ

وكان صاحب السمو قد غادر أرض الوطن عصر أمس، متوجهاً «بحفظ الله ورعايته» إلى دولة الكويت الشقيقة في زيارة أخوية.
ورافق سمو الأمير، سمو الشيخ جاسم بن حمد آل ثاني الممثل الشخصي للأمير.
كما رافق سموه عدد من أصحاب السعادة الشيوخ والوزراء.
