Qatar, Morocco vow to promote strategic ties
قطر والمغرب.. إرادة قوية للارتقاء بشراكتهما الاستراتيجي
Rabat: The State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Morocco expressed, during the seventh meeting of the Qatari-Moroccan Joint Supreme Committee, held yesterday in Rabat, strong will to strengthen bilateral cooperation in order to forge a strategic partnership that meets the aspirations of Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and H M King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco as well as the peoples of the two brotherly countries.
In a speech, the Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani expressed thanks to the Kingdom of Morocco for the warm welcome and the positive atmosphere that prevailed during the visit.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister said that both sides held several meetings and signed a number of agreements, including the establishment of a joint commercial committee and the opening of the shipping line between the Moroccan ports and Hamad Port.
He stressed that this will contribute to trade exchange between the two countries.
The Prime Minister added that the businessmen council between the two countries will be activated, which will also contribute to boosting and increasing the volume of investments between Qatar and Morocco.
The Prime Minister and Interior Minister reiterated his thanks to Morocco for the good reception and warm hospitality, in addition, he called for the holding of the upcoming meeting of the Qatari-Moroccan Joint Supreme Committee in Qatar.
For his part, the Prime Minister of Morocco, Saad Eddine El Othmani, lauded the solid and established foundations that characterise Qatari-Moroccan relations and his satisfaction with the qualitative development of the course of these relations. He confirmed the existence of a strong shared will to work with every effort to upgrade these relations.
The Moroccan Prime Minister stressed that the seventh meeting of the Qatari-Moroccan Joint Supreme Committee is an opportunity to review and evaluate the outcome of bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially trade, finance, investment, and culture.
The Prime Minister of Morocco pointed out that the economic, investment and trade cooperation between the two countries is the locomotive driving bilateral cooperation, especially with the great potential of both countries and the will to achieve the desired goals, within a global economy that is characterised by a comprehensive openness and growing conglomerate.
H E the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Morocco urged the economic and business actors of the two countries to double their efforts to develop a genuine strategic partnership that activate economic, trade and investment cooperation through optimal utilization of the available economic potential.
عبرت كل من دولة قطر والمملكة المغربية، خلال الاجتماع السابع للجنة العليا القطرية-المغربية المشتركة، اليوم في الرباط، عن إرادة قوية لتعزيز التعاون الثنائي من أجل بلورة شراكة استراتيجية تستجيب لتطلعات حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى وأخيه جلالة الملك محمد السادس ملك المملكة المغربية، وشعبي البلدين الشقيقين.
وفي كلمة بالمناسبة، أعرب معالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، عن شكره للمملكة المغربية الشقيقة على حسن الاستقبال والحفاوة، وعلى الأجواء الإيجابية التي سادت الزيارة.
وقال معالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني “عقدنا العديد من الاجتماعات وتم التوقيع على عدد من الاتفاقيات، ومن خلال هذه الاتفاقيات إنشاء لجنة مشتركة تجارية، وأيضا فتح الخط الملاحي بين الموانئ المغربية وميناء حمد الدولي”.. مؤكدا معاليه أن ذلك سيساهم في التبادل التجاري بين الدولتين الشقيقتين.
وأضاف معالي رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية أنه سوف يتم تفعيل مجلس رجال الأعمال بين الدولتين، مما سيساهم أيضا في تعزيز وزيادة حجم الاستثمارات بين دولة قطر والمملكة المغربية.
وكرر معاليه، في الختام، الشكر للمملكة المغربية على حسن الاستقبال وحفاوة التكريم، ودعا إلى انعقاد الاجتماع المقبل للجنة العليا المشتركة في دولة قطر.
من جانبه، أشاد دولة الدكتور سعد الدين العثماني رئيس الحكومة بالمملكة المغربية الشقيقة، بالأسس الصلبة والراسخة التي تميز العلاقات القطرية المغربية، وبارتياحه للتطور النوعي لمسار هذه العلاقات، مؤكدا على وجود إرادة قوية مشتركة للعمل بكل جهد قصد الارتقاء بها.
وأكد أن اجتماع الدورة السابعة للجنة العليا المغربية القطرية المشتركة يشكل فرصة لاستعراض وتقييم حصيلة التعاون الثنائي في مختلف المجالات، خاصة منها التجارية والمالية والاستثمارية والثقافية.. موضحا أن التعاون الاقتصادي والاستثماري والتجاري القطري المغربي يشكل القاطرة التي تقود التعاون الثنائي، بفضل ما يزخر به البلدان من طاقات كبيرة وإرادة لبلوغ المرامي المنشودة، في ظل اقتصاد عالمي يعرف انفتاحا شاملا وتكتلا متزايدا.
وحث دولة رئيس الحكومة بالمملكة المغربية الشقيقة، الفاعلين الاقتصاديين ورجال الأعمال في البلدين على مضاعفة الجهود قصد بلورة شراكة استراتيجية حقيقية تمكن من تنشيط التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري والاستثماري من خلال الاستغلال الأمثل لما تتيحه الإمكانيات الاقتصادية الهامة المتوفرة.
