Turkish Foreign Minister Holds Phone Call with US Counterpart

Ankara: Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu held a phone call on Friday evening with his US counterpart Anthony Blinken.
During the call, they followed up on the issues discussed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and US President Joe Biden on Friday.
Erdogan and Biden had agreed during the call to hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the NATO summit expected in June, according to a statement of the Turkish Presidency.
Erdogan emphasized to Biden the importance of resolving issues such as the presence of the Gulen organization in the United States and the American support for the YPG/PKK organization in Syria.
The two presidents also agreed on the importance of joint action to expand cooperation based on the strategic nature of bilateral relations and common interests.

وذكرت وكالة أنباء /الأناضول/ أنه تم خلال الاتصال متابعة القضايا التي ناقشها الرئيسان التركي رجب طيب أردوغان والأمريكي جو بايدن يوم أمس /الجمعة/.
وكان أردوغان وبايدن اتفقا خلال الاتصال على عقد لقاء ثنائي على هامش قمة زعماء حلف شمال الأطلسي /الناتو/ المرتقبة في يونيو المقبل وفق بيان لدائرة الاتصال بالرئاسة التركية.
وأكد أردوغان لبايدن على أهمية حل قضايا مثل وجود تنظيم /غولن/ في الولايات المتحدة والدعم الأمريكي لتنظيم /ي ب ك/ بي كا كا/ في سوريا.
كما اتفق الرئيسان على أهمية العمل المشترك لتوسيع التعاون على أساس الطبيعة الاستراتيجية للعلاقات الثنائية والمصالح المشتركة.
