Doha: Mr. Abdulla Al-Mannai, Director of the Meteorological Department of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, denied that the heavy rainfall on Thursday was an exceptional phenomenon related to climate change.
Al-Mannai said – in an intervention with Al-Rayyan channel – that the high levels of humidity and condensation of water vapor led to an increase in convective clouds and helped in the heavy rains we witnessed, and it was not an exceptional incident related to climate change.
